  1. I thought both were pretty good.
  2. Just because you can't appreciate the music doesn't mean it's bad singing!
  3. Peanuts are often processed together with other (real) nuts at the same factory-- you never just see a peanut factory, the same factory produces hazelnuts, brazil nuts, etc. Sometimes random bits of nuts can end up with other nuts in the same packaging, which is why your brother should really heed the warning, if those nuts cause allergic reactions.
  4. Hmm on second look I noticed another inaccuracy in the model-- the '5 hole block' is supposed to be right next to the shoulder armour instead of having such a large gap in between. Sighh...
  5. Sweet last pose! Could you focus on the gunbarrels rather than the figure itself? I think that would lend itself to better drama! (as well as helping to mask the many deficiencies of the toy )
  6. Thanks for the links! Re: VF-22 Raptor: WTF!
  7. The have an angle, as in the intake on the right side. Also, the wings have a dihedral to them. Other than that, it looks great!
  8. I think it looks best in Battroid mode though. Oh well... those big booster packs hanging off the wings are the main problem. It can probably be made to balance in an action pose i.e. not standing up straight.
  9. The cracking polycaps are still present in series 2, I might add.
  10. Both! The aircraft is coming in for a hard landing!
  11. You just gotta have patient-- there's no way the Super packs are going out of production anytime soon and the pre-order might be open again by HLJ after they confirm more stocks. Afterall, this is not the DX Super packs we are talking about . I'm just wondering whether I should buy the standalone packs or a whole new set, and build a better 1/72 this time.
  12. That's good to know, holytoledo69 (about the paint rubbing off). I was wondering if anybody had panel-lined their VF-25? Does it dramatically improve the looks as I think it will? Maybe the additional detail of panel lines will help break up the bulky overall look of the toy and make it look better.
  13. On a related note, Gabriela Robin's site has been down for a few days now... does anybody know what's up with that?
  14. Still, its not like you deliberately went over the surface with sandpaper or anything, right? So the paint could still be said to be worn off in normal use after a short while. Oh well, I guess I'll have my own look at it when I receive my -25F, which should be in the next two weeks.
  15. I think Yamato has improved over the years, since their Tab B days. Most of the current breakages are just cracks, and the average buyer might not even notice them, if not for this forum. Maybe the Japanese/Hkers just aren't as anal about cracks as some people on these boards are?
  16. Woah thats really fast paint wear. How many times have you transformed the toy? Looks like the toy itself may be durable but the paint application may be cheap.
  17. That would be genius if it could work! Hopefully someone will be able to try it-- and maybe try it for the 1/72 model kit as well!
  18. It's sad... we either get a correct-to-scale, but missing parts Q-Rea, or an off-scale Q-Rea. Hopefully both scenes will be re-animated properly eventually. Heck, given the speculation about Klan's role in the movie, maybe some of the questions about her here will be answered.
  19. Very nice! Esp the Gerwalk VF-0D. Hopefully Yamato will come out with a VF-0D soon! The purple VF-19 is a little weird though-- I would have prefered a more standard paintjob. Any chance you could post the sites where you found these?
  20. Is there anybody who has had any QC issues at all?
  21. It's a fun conjecture I guess.
  22. Maybe all the vernier thrusters are used to counteract the reaction of firing all the missiles, and there's poor animation, and those valkyries are actually taken out by the missiles that were fired? Makes more sense than a totally unknown laser weapon that covers the entire surface of the Q-Rau that no one, not even SK, talks about.
  23. Damn you Wicked Ace! Pictures like these are what pushed me to the dark side of buying a DX
  24. With small parts you can just use a permanent marker. Saves on alot of the trouble!
