  1. The 1/60 v2 box should look like the attached photo. Do post pictures once you receive it!
  2. But the dorsal side slits have been there on many other designs such as the VF-0 and VF-1 and have not been described as such. The intake above the engine intake, on the other hand... might just be another extraneous intake like the dorsal slits. Maybe they could refer to the inverted V's on the bottom of the frontal fuselage? (Circled in green) They certainly can be construed as slit(s) on the front of the fighter's body.
  3. I'd guess that the plastic would be the same as that used for the toy so there will be a slight gloss finish. As expected the Super parts make the VF-25S positively look like it's hiding down it's collar. I'm also wondering if the attachment of the super packs will scratch the skull squadron symbol on the back off... I'm guessing it will.
  4. That's not green hair!
  5. Yep. At least the kit is not difficult to dissemble-- most of the parts come off with a firm tug, so no worries about breaking stubs! It still kind of sucks that partsforming is required for Super pack mode. I guess this means the 1/100 line will most likely be either/or i.e. VF-25 and VF-25 Super will be different toys altogether.
  6. I'd go for the Apache, just cuz he's holding a Tomahawk
  7. That's sad, given how badly the Glaug needs a retcon.
  8. Yep the RVF-25 looks great! I'm glad I put in a pre-order for it. I guess the VF-25G will be up next after this. I can hardly wait!
  9. Care to enlighten inquiring minds? Regardless, the ventral fins sticking straight down is another inaccuracy with the toy. Given the news about the extensive parts swapping required for the Super VF-25F 1/72 though, I'd guess it's an acceptable compromise-- and just goes to illustrate how the 1/72 is really for display and the DX is a toy.
  10. I'd guess that almost all the leg armour, the crotch, the upper intakes, and the chest would need to be replaced--which is basically every part that the armour needs to be attached (other than the wing pods). Given this, I don't see why the cost of the VF-25F Super needs to be so high! They could just have excluded the parts to make the normal VF-25F and reduced the cost some.
  11. Amazing! There's some parts I don't understand though. For this bit: [Picture Caption - Front view, lower caption] The slit on the front of the fighter's body takes in air and can also act as a Boundary Layer Control system, which lightens air resistance on the wings and body. --Which slit are they referring to?
  12. What does the first pic do to estimates of the real height of the Glaug? That Zentran getting into his Glaug seems wayy smaller than the official stats would have us believe (10m Zentran, 16m Glaug)
  13. Hehe I guess you used the Bandai closed feet trick for posing in Gerwalk? It looks great! My VF-25F is stuck in customs somehow.. grrrrr.
  14. Is that an error or can the VF-9 really turn it's cockpit in Gerwalk mode like a head?
  15. Yep it looks brand new! Looks good though!
  16. Great poses! I'd like to see higher resolution pictures though.
  17. That's it. Combined with this and the news (can anyone confirm?) that the VF-25F w/Super parts is coming with the Sheryl decal, I'm going to cancel my preorder for the Super parts alone and order them together instead!
  18. Yes but look at GGemini's first picture-- absolutely horrendous! The extended neck really makes it look better. Maybe you can post some poses which make the lack of a neck look better?
  19. Which is what made them as sucessful as they are today! The 1/60 scale, while having it's faults, is certainly working out pretty well for Yamato.
  20. Apparently all you need to do is to heat them up with a hairdryer on low heat-- you don't even need to touch them, just heat them up, they will straighten out and be fine.
  21. HWJ might still have them up for pre-order.
  22. Bandai will probably sit on the license till Kingdom come, doing nothing with it
  23. Looks great! Hmm is it possible to shorten the stump of the new neck joint so that it fits in fighter and yet looks better for battroid? I'm pretty sure there should be additional clearance for the head in fighter, this is a DX afterall.
  24. Major disappointment! I open this thread and the first thing I saw was VF-0 and I though that that would be the next release! It doesn't look too bad, to be honest, except for the hip joints.
  25. If yamato could make 2 seater VF-1s, they can make 2 seater VF-0s. The proportions will probably be sacrificed a little, like in the VF-1D, but hey, the VF-1D looks great, doesn't it? As will the VF-0D if it every comes out!
