  1. Need...more...Sheryl...pics...to..heat..things..up..
  2. Hmm possibly-- the actual parts shown just beside it are white though. Could they just have moulded both red and white covers onto the same sprue?

    Yamato stands

Why on earth is the VF-11B posed in fighter mode with super packs on and the dorsal tail fins extended? Otherwise, it looks great!
  4. Haha maybe this is Bandai's attempt to get into the poseable figurine market? They should let fans voice out all the different figurines that they want made!
  5. Hmm.. the strawberry blonde of sheryl's hair doesn't really go well with the rest of the outfit--though it is certainly more natural than the pink in the series
  6. Check the modelling forums-- I think PetarB is into making such stuff, though his recent work was in 1/72.
  7. Yep that was stated a few pages back. The bundled kits seem to come with the missile covers moulded in the correct colours though, which is quite sneaky/smart of Bandai!
  8. And an even larger number of fans who can't accept that while the VF-25 is the latest, it is not the greatest in every aspect
  9. That true.. ahh well I guess I'm more a hard sf guy than anything--more on the science and less on the fiction I'm fine with technobabble though.
  10. Yep I'm seeding now-- you have to realise that you can only download as much as the availability ratio-- which was at about 71% without seeders which is why you can't download more. We need more people to volunteer to be distros!
  11. Exactly. Makes no sense .
  12. Hmm I don't know about that-- it may be the subs that I'm watching, but I've noticed that there always seems to be a kind of fuzzy 'halo' around the VFs in MacF that aren't present in Mac0 which spoils the effect for me.
  13. Yea after looking at my own 1/72 Ozma, I guess you're right. Still, I hope the sniper rifle is attachable though, seeing as to how the actual rifle seems about the same size as the scratchbuilt one and the scratchbuilt one seems to attach just fine.
  14. Yep... they are certainly showing Frontier alot more love than they did for 7 so I'm hopeful. Esp as 1/100 seems to be their mass market line--which is actually kind of smart! Instead of competing directly with Revoltech and Yamato's GNU-DOU, make a toy that is about the same size, but transformable! I think they've got a winner on their hands.
  15. I hope not!! The DX toy already has enough weird out of place holes in it that any more would basically make it look like swiss cheese (hyperbole, but still )
  16. I'm going to try to make my own, using the DX Michael and the Banpresto Klan! Nothing permanent though, because the Banpresto is not posable and I just wanna see how it looks
  17. Isn't that just a scratchbuilt kit from one of the figure modelling magazines? Edit: Found it. It was Hobby Japan November 2008 Issue. That picture you posted was a convert from a VF-25F Messiah and is not the actual model kit itself. So all the things like the Ranka figure, Soundbooster pod wings, and the sniper rifle are scratchbuilt and not representative of their actual size.
  18. I'm cynical enough to believe that that won't happen-- else we wouldn't have these economic cycles of boom and bust. What we can do, though, is to recognize that these cycles happen and just learn how to ride them .
  19. I hope both! As in, a bundle for those who want it, and just the parts for those who already got a DX toy. Like how they handled the Super parts release for the 1/72 model kits.
  20. Why not? There are tonnes of anime figurines out there 100x more risque than this. Just ask VFTF!
  21. Interesting! I certainly haven't read this before. Do you know if they ever posted the rest of the interview? As to the interview itself, I guess SK really sounds like one of those conspiracy theorists who go on about how MNCs are going to take over the world. Also, as to this: "Even in real life, it’s the same as when the US military buys Israeli fuselages that have gone through many actual battles and then improves on the design to create a more powerful fighter." That doesn't even have any connection to reality that I know of!
  22. Well, the "actress" playing Ranka looks cute, but the one playing Sheryl is not someone I'd take a second look at, but, judging from the photo, has the properly enhanced "assets" to play the part.
  23. There's Wally! Edit: I have no idea why my bright red circle in MS Paint looks so dull in the picture, but that part there is certainly not part of the intake and is just the right size and shape for the muzzle of the sniper rifle when closed.
  24. I like the YF-24--- its reminiscent of the VF-0D. Looks like it's going to be packaged in Battroid mode, which doesn't bode well for the fit in fighter mode. Vifam: The 1/100 line doesn't have any news about Super or Armour parts for the VF-25 yet--- the whole thing you're talking about is the DX line. Also, I think the news so far is that they are going to let fans vote for which valk they want to see, and the popular choices will be made. Not all the possible VFs shown in the poster will be made, although I hope that eventually they will all be made.
  25. Sweet-- poseable Sheryl in that loose purple dress in Luca's Ex-gear--- panties removable and comes with Ai-Kun for that special scene!
