- I didn't figure how to remove the antenna off the VF-0S; until I dropped it onto the floor (not intentionally of course!). No damage of course. - I dropped the Tomahawk three feet from the ground when I was taking photos for the Destroids. My heart stopped beating for 3 seconds; but when I snapped back the parts I can sell it in mint condition.

Any chance we are getting the full Vermilion squad?
-
I NEED those. Of course, and the enemies mechas too.
-
I am confused... What if I say it is unused? Does that count as a resale? If not, probably everyone would learn to lie. "Opened to check parts only", etc.

Official Bandai 1/60 Scale DX Toy Thread Ver.3

I don't think we should bring Yamato in for the discussion... Personally I don't care which manufacturer produces it. There's no argument that Bandai is capable of an anime-accurate toy from what we've seen from the 1/72 model; however they didn't in the end. I've heard arguments such as "it's intended by Kawamori" (which I doubt; it may just be a PR statement), "it's for durability", etc; but I am not sold. I expect THAT much from Bandai to come up with a toy that is both anime-accurate and durable. Has Bandai failed? It depends on how you look at it. - Bandai has failed to deliver an anime-accurate model; - Bandai has succeeded in selling it thus far, judging from the insane inflated prices now. Are the VF-25's in the anime anorexic? Personally I won't say so - my first impression is that "the new valkyries are so skinny... no, they are just skeletons!" That's something special about the VF-25's, and I don't want the toy manufacturer to "correct it". -

What is your budget? It's not really entirely sold out (from what I notice yesterday), just that the prices are crazy. -
There's a shop in In's Point that carries over a dozen models of Yamato Macross toys.
-
I think typically they are selling at HK$1,280 each (around US$165) - as a side note, Animate used to be over-price - and on first day places sold them at HK$8XX. So we all expect the price would be down to HK$9XX quite quickly when the sea shipment arrives.

I am even older... And I am collecting toys and playing video games too! In fact, looking at the genres of video games and the stories of some RPGs, many of them are not meant for kids. -

I totally agree with you; I respect everybody's opinion, although I do not agree with them most of the time. But a discussion forum is where you learn different views from different people, right? Especially it comes to personal preference... You can't say I am "wrong" or ridiculous to dislike something. Otherwise it may be ridiculous to like Macross in the first place. The feet don't lock with a click; and yes, they would collapse into the leg if you push hard. The heat shield is not glossy.

Thanks! That's the re-released version.

Sorry! I forgot the whole thing after Xmas. Here are some shots for the 0S (in the middle of the post): http://www.toysdaily.com/discuz/thread-83212-1-1.html And I have posed it and played and transformed, so far the shoulders are solid, and I don't see any problem - except for attaching the Ghost - otherwise everything is fine for 0S.
-
I would like to see something like this from CMS or Yamato, but 50% cheaper (probably smaller too): http://www.yamato-toys.com/items/detail.php?gid=546 It is not exactly brilliant, but good enough for me.

*SALUTE* I hope it still looks fine in other modes. -
I think Yamato has already ridden on the upsurge of Macross popularity - in Dec, they released Tomahawk OD, Defender and Hikaru 1S, and re-released VF-0S and the Queadluun-Raus. It is already pretty crowded for a series (even if compared to Gundam mechandises)...

Boobs. End of discussion.

Hmm... It's about the same size as the 1/60 VF-1J... and that's a problem. It should be about the size of a 1/60 YF-19. VF-1 series are one size smaller. -

I can pass with the DX toys now. The head of 25S is pummelled (reminded me of how Focker died in DYRL; anyone?); and the head guns (they are not antennas; antennas can be bent, but bent cannon barrels?) are not even straight. Was waiting for FAST-bundled package, but I'll pass altogether. I can wait than wasting my storage space... -
The Defender and Tomahawk OD would be released on Dec 26. From Yamato site!
