I do not worry about the Regult, because I would bet my whole 1/48 collection on that the revised 1/60 scale idea is to produce the affordable destroids/ regults in a smaller scale (i.e. expected bad sales if they are in 1/48). Glaug... I am not as sure, I'll probably bet my first-born only. And personally, I need the reactive armor more than a VF-0D. Yeah, I know I am one of the minorities, and this doesn't fit with the Yamato policy of "milk the mold till hell freezes" either when comparing to releasing a 0D. Still, I want the REACTIVE ARMOR!

No good lighting, not a good DC, sucking skills, etc. The color in the photo a little bit "redder" than the real thing, but kind of close enough. I guess it would be more significant to web designers/ people whose expertises relate to color; but let's just say the actual orange is a little bit paler. And thus more close to the TV color!

1554 yen to be exact... Expensive for such a simple stand IMO.

It looks like it supports the larger models; but in fact from the offical site, it mentions things like it can't do steep angles for the heavier ones.

I live in Hong Kong so I just pick up mine from the shop directly.

Just got mine too for around US$80! Now I've the VF-1A, VF-1D, VF-1J and VF-1S for Hikaru... Now I need the VT-1 for his full collection!

That's sweet. I have the old VF-25F, and now I am thinking about buying a Super VF-25F with the decal. Then I would put the super parts on my current 25F, and make a plain 25F with the Sheryl decal... I won't transform it then... It'll stay as a fighter till the end of time.

About Hikaru in his uniform: Do you mean the one in Minmay collection? That doesn't really count, as that is a "photo" and it's only a bust. (and gee, the mold wasn't good)

Right. In terms of living space (in Japan), in many urban areas people live in apartments, and the 1/2000 scale is a problem.

That's so true. If they resculpt it, it would certainly drive people who already purchased the original version crazy. If it would be done, it wouldn't be the DX line, they would invent a new series so people can't really complain. Probably I should think no more on the DX and be happy with the models. Would probably buy a DX VF-25F w/ Super Parts when the price gets to normal. That would be... a year later I guess. Won't collect the whole squad like I always love to... (Model super parts to be issued soon! Yea!)

EH? Thanks. Let's wait till the movie and see if they change the mecha design, so Bandai can issue a new VF-25 variation.

What else to announce at the SDF launch ceremony? The launch of a larger scale (compare to WAVE) SDF! It would be taller than a 1/48 VF-1 I believe - speaking of head height.
