The offical price is 39800 yen for each of them~ That's around US$400!
-
I like all of them. But I won't be able to pay for them, let alone finding space for them.

Thanks!!! I was thinking about throwing a box or two this few days; and your idea is great for someone who wishes to keep all the boxes for collection purpose.

What color would the fingers would be in? I am using them for my valks, which have white fingers most of the time. I'd prefer them to be white. Is that possible? Does it fit into my 1/48 valks right away? Thanks! Edit: If both answers are yes, and at US$10 I am interested in 10 pairs. Not at $20 though (US$20 is sufficient for me to get a whole MG model).

I have fallen... I shouldn't have done it, but I did it. My wife doesn't know about the new ladies yet, so I don't have enough time to take them out for pictures... They are big and look great... Need to wait...

Same here... I have the Super Packs but no 25F or 25S to put it on. Waiting for 25F re-issue this month... And 25S Armored in June (that means early July, the shopkeeper said). Won't have the full team for a whole season! -

I think valhary was perfectly clear on his standing. -
I hate this thread. I really would put my hands on prizes A, B and C, but I cannot afford the space.

Hmm... Not necessarily true. VF-1D was released on Feb 21, VF-1S SSP (Hikaru) Dec 20 and VF-1J SP Nov 18. Tomahwak was on first of Oct.

The root problem is not that they are different, but how different they are. -
Re: the second picture: It seems to be about the right scale with a micro-human? Imagine Klan Klan is playing swing with Alto... Hmm, why not compare with Michael instead? I like Klan Klan in the show. However, it's too big for me to display it, and also my wife would certainly complain. Hey, I don't like her (just) because of her boobs! edit: I typed "tight scale" in the 1st sentence.

edwin3060, thanks for your support! It is a warmth to be appreciated. Internet is a place for sharing to me. I mostly read and learn more on other's views, not to point fingers and say people are "wrong" when it comes to personal views/ opinions. I won't say I am unbiased, but when I express my opinions, I try to do so with some support of facts/ reasoning (lineart comparison on my dislike of the DX scale, photos on the color discrepancy, other people's reports on the same incident). I like it when people point out that the lighting matters for the mis-color thing, it helps people to understand the situation better. But it doesn't help when one simply assumes that others simply are too stupid to put together the parts or read the instruction manual first for the floppy parts issue. I complained a lot about the DX before (I wonder why complaints = whines on the Internet?), but I still get the DX, and I will get the full Skull squad. I didn't have to explain why I do/ will, but I believe I did in this thread previously:I like the VF-25s so much that I want to own the valks in their F/G/B modes in plain/Super/Armored states. I have the model kits which are GREAT looking in my opinion, but given the delication of the decals (so I dare not to transform them) and the inability to wear super parts at will, essentially I can only choose one state for each valk. So I decided to pick up the DX to satisfy my own desire of "collecting them all". I buy the DXs because I see it now that there are some values I can capture from it. I don't need something to be perfect to buy. I don't need to switch side because now I own the DX. I still do not like the same things I complained about before, but now the DX possess some qualities that justify my purchase. Does that make me a loser because "I said there are bad things about the DX but I still buy it"? I do not mind people to compare products/ services from different companies - I actually do it myself frequently. Technically this is for benmarking performance or otherwise we have no standards for comparisons and evaluation. But I think it is unfair to say that if people is complaining Bandai, they worship Yamato (or vice versa, of course). This intentionally lowers the credibility of the comparison by suggesting the person is biased. This is low. It is also interesting to read the following messages from the same person: - "If you don't like it, don't buy it." - "Someone is complaining without owning it." By this logic, if you wish to complain, you have to own it first. But then if you don't like it enough to complain, you shouldn't have owned it in the first place. In either case, you are a loser. Sorry, did I say logic? -
The VT-1 is priced at 15800 yen, and it does not have missiles and the gunpod. It's even more expensive than a SSP bundle. I reckon it is because the mold cannot be recycled, and I accept that as a reason myself...

Thanks! Think I did okay in the exams, but everyone will pass anyways unless one does not pay effort. But a better grade will make my tuition more worthwhile. According to the buddy TDer's report, it seems that the difference is quite apparent across individual toys, and what's more puzzling is that it's of the same batch. Regrettably I don't have access to 2 RVF-25's. Don't know anyone who will pick up 2... -

If I remember correctly, the 25G comes with 3 semi-circle things for the sniper gun/ gunpods. 2 for the sniper and 1 for the regular one. News update: Because I mentioned in TD, when a TDer went out for his RVF, he double-checked the color. This is his sharing: - When he checked the first one, he nodded that this is what I've reported. - So he asked for a second box. He was WOWED! He saw 3 distinct greens in different parts. - In the third one, he found it acceptable. So far we have 6 samples! -

You need a semi-circle clip thing to hold the gunpod, right? The Luca DX just does not provide that specific accessory. And it's now morning (misty one); I look at Luca again, and it looks tolerable to me. The difference is there; but with a glance you may probably miss it. Just as I didn't notice it when I bought it at the shop and checked the parts (only paid attention to the painted jobs and known problems and heck, there was a plastic bag too). Again, it's really not that hideous in real life. The photo-shooting and the lighting made it stand out. I am really worried that I may seem to be spreading panick on the DX, so I am stating this again... To be inconsistent to what I have been doing in the last sentence, there are 3 cases now for the color problem. Another guy confirmed, but he did not post photos. My 25G seems to be fine too in terms of this color thing, but a guy in TD actually complained there are 3 blue shades for his. So much about luck. And as a quick summary, the known problems for the DX from TD: - color discrepancy (reported on 25G once and thrice on RVF) - someone forgotten to paint the black/white thing on the canopy side (reported on 25G) - missing part for the booster; the colored (blue for Michael, etc) tip of the booster (reported on 25G) -

(just finished the past paper and decided I deserve a break) Just want to say that, in fact it looks worse in the pic than when you see it personally. I don't want to exaggerate the situation by swearing at the photo which has the problem magnified. Still, the problem is there, and it is noticeable. So far I have been looking at it under tungsten light. Let's see if there's any difference under natural lighting. (I'll have to wait till Sunday as I won't be home during day time) -

This's true. It's more obvious in the photo, but still apparent in real life in my case. If you are picking up locally, I would recommend you to go check before buying. That would be safe enough. But you are ordering from the web, I have no suggestions. Let's wait for more open-box reports. (should go back to study after dinner) -

Good news to you guys, but not for me: There is at least one RVF-25 without this color problem now: http://www.toysdaily.com/discuz/thread-90885-1-1.html I would cease bad-mouthing the DX from now. bad karma. Edit: I just look at his photo more closely, there is still the color discrepancy, but not as apparent. Or it's his photo shooting? So there are 2 cases now, one quite apparent (my case), and another seems to be less so. -

I have posted a message on TD (the HK toy forum) to ask if I am a special case (because I am an ungrateful bastard for the DX), or it's a general issue. Will keep you guys posted! -

I don't think the greens are different for those areas in the lineart. It's not painted job which would be understandable... Why would molded parts have different green? (The other green looks like the plastic has been oxidized by sunlight! Just a feeling) -

It does! But the left leg still falls off quite often when I pose it.
