  1. Meh... Have seen the 1/48 version of the clear parts...
  2. Yammies are always limited to me; there would be a re-issue someday, yes; but you don't know how far that would be (except when it comes to a Focker 1S maybe). Think about the M&M Q-raus and the 1/48 M&M 1J... So I always get the thing in the first week. The decision is easy when you don't have to pay shipping! So the "limited" tag has no special meaning to me. BTW, we have seen too many "special", "web exclusive" and "limited editions" in the past months. When it is impossible to collect them all, it's easier to let go.
  3. I suppose that's after the original LV Yamato learnt to play with limited edition. The LV was in the bargain bin I've heard when it was first released. But it was sold at a premium a few years later!
  4. Personally I think this is not a limited edition. Limited editions are, at large, models that do not guarantee decent profit. The 1/48 has already moved into this criteria, so the Max/ Kakizaki TV 1A is built-to-order. The weathered models... I think given the extra weathering spray-work, the cost is higher and more risky if they don't sell. So all weathered valks/ destroids are limited. Now come to the 1/60 VF-1S LV... The manufacturing is just the same as a regular valk. And it's also an 1S (which is easier to sell I think), so this is safe for Yamato to have a standard issue for it instead of limited edition.
  5. It says this is just a sample, and the final product may be different. And the price would be the same as a regular valk (10290 yen). No indication that it is a limited edition... yet.
  6. Glossy look makes it cheesy on a sci-fic war machine. Except when it's about metallic color, that's another story.
  7. There are a lot of things that Bandai can do, but lately they don't seem to care to do much. And I can't agree about the Yamato valks looking like Happy Meal toys... The paint job on the 1/60 v2 is on par with the best of Soul of Chogokin, if not better. Crispy and clean.
  8. The more I look at it, the more I am sold to the BoP. (weak-minded fool!)
  9. General interpretation on messages from Grah... eh, you-know-who, TV VF-1S is on its way, sooner or later.
  10. It says "there is no plan for the bundled set". ※ 「DX超合金 VF-25Fメサイアバルキリー(早乙女アルト機)」と「アーマードパーツ」の セット版商品の予定はありません。
  11. Yes, it says it's just a sample and the final product may differ.
  12. Thus far... It seems so. This banner image is directly from Tamashii web site.
  13. VE-1 is scheduled to be released in Sept.
  14. This autumn!
  15. Saw this coming when the missiles of the Ghost set was demonstrated with a clear-version VF-25:
  16. I can feel your anger, young one... Admit that you like it... it's quicker, and easier...
  17. Price is the same as a regular VF-1... So no FP there. I think we can expect a gunpod of different color though. The gunpods were of different color on the 1/48 LV1, LV2 and 25th 1S. To honkhet: Honestly I agree with you that it's not very innovative. On the other hand, I want it badly...
  18. Announce, yes. Release, hard to tell. Yamato has developed a habit to have products jump in the queue. Last month you learnt that product A would be released in Sept; next week you'll see product B and product C released in July. It's the power of mold milking! Back to the VF-1S LV: - The "low visibility" cannot be read from the photo; I read it from the hobbystock site. - I don't see a grey jet fighter with yellow stripes; I see a dark battroid with glowing stripes! - I said I would avoid the non-canon VF-1 vars. I take it back. No, that wasn't me at all. Someone may think the yellow stripes ruin the LV/ stealth idea, but it looks better to me overall. The original LV 1A and stealth 1J were more real and look great in fighter mode, but a bit boring to look at in battroid mode.
  19. I've tried to see where this belongs... But I think it may deserve a new thread? If not, Mods please forgive me and move it to the right place. 1/60 VF-1S Low Visibility Price: 10290yen (same as regular 1/60 VF-1) Scheduled to release by autumn As a side note, VE-1 is scheduled by Sept.
  20. On official product details page, one of the selling points is that the QC is better now; better joints, better parts put together better, and everything would be more precise. 今まで数回の生産により世に出た「1/60 YF-19」ですが、今回の発売に併せた形で生産工場の検査基準を見直し、醍醐味でもある変形や可動関節、パーツの合わせ箇所等の検証を実施。精度が上がっています!
  21. I am more interested in getting a Super Squad team... I am wondering given the floppiness, how would it pose for the heavier Armored VF-25.
  22. I am never a fan of M+. I'll most probably pass for these 2. I would be interested to get the Double Nut if it has a S-type head.
  23. I am so sorry that I mis-translated it.... It actually says the canopy, arms and legs design are inherited from the VF-22 line. Not the engine.
  24. Damn you, Bandai, for all the decals. THEY LOOK GOOD TO ME.
