Sorry for my bad white balance during shooting. It's in perfect condition.

Someone talking about Captain Kakizaki?
-
Yes as they are virtual characters, it doesn't mean much to judge by their age. However, the character designs of Ranka and micro Klan just look like kids, so while I would like to buy their figures in school/army uniforms or any normal wears, their swimsuit figures make me feel weird to buy.
-
I know Ranka is younger than Sheryl by 1 year only... But it doesn't feel right to me (child's porn), just like the Klan Klan in swimsuit. However, I'll grab it without hesitation if the designs are done with Sheryl. Or the grown Klan. Or Catherine. Or Nanase (hey! where's my baseline?). P.S. Ranka is only 16... Does that count as "child" porn?

I have a weak heart.

Isn't it that TRUST is all about? You've seen the mess, and they said they'll clear it up this time. And you take their claim and actually preorder the thing!

After experiences with the 1/48 and 1/60 VF-1, 1/60 VF-0 and SV series, after I transformed the YF-19 for the first time, I was crazily looking for some way to lock the chest. But no, there is not. The first time I whined about how a Yamato design is stupid. Therefore I concluded that the YF-19 is not suitable for rolls and dives within the atmosphere; and also it fails to retain its battroid form in somewhere within gravity. (The ironic thing is, it's joints are so loose, it would fare better to hold a gun when there is no gravity.) What am I complaining? They told you it's an experimental fighter!
-
Ben who? I don't know anyone with that name. Seriously, thanks for the information.
-
I don't think so; at least I preordered all three, and the shopowner only called me to pick up the two.

The TV Kakizaki is a must. Is it the first time we ever see a TV Kakizaki, toys or model-wise? That's given that you have the VF-1J and Max 1A. Otherwise, get those 2 first. It doesn't mean "not to buy the Kakizaki DYRL". But you may get a 1/48 with the same price, that's something worth considering.

What has this thread or this forum become? Personally, I enjoy my time to be alone. Unlike some people, I never get bored and have to think of something to do; there are always books to read, video games to beat, DVDs to watch, toys to take picture for, TV programmes I am really interested in. And in fact there are so many things I want to do, I do two things at a time very often. That being said, I also enjoy the company of others. That is a different thing and make me feel "loved". When I think more of it, yes that's the point - I think it's a good feeling to be loved. By parents, by your spouse, by your friends, by your colleagues. And among them, you have a better committment from parents and spouse to love you and support you (and long-time friends too). I believe there are people who don't feel the need to be loved. Just similar to that somebody doesn't like sex. That's nothing wrong but they might have missed something good in their lives!

My complaint about my 25th YF-19 was also its floppiness. This time, Yamato claimed that they have better QC on the joints, and I believe they are answering to the floppiness issue. So I decided to trust them and pre-order the BoP!

It's actually here in Hong Kong; I just received a call from the shop. Too bad I am late for home that the shop has already closed!!!! Will get it tomorrow...

I just looked up HLJ; Kakizaki TV 1A is backordered, and Max DYRL 1A is in stock. So it is out there, somewhere! Boxarts: http://www.hlj.com/images/ymt/ymt00098box.jpg http://www.hlj.com/images/ymt/ymt00131box.jpg

Official Bandai 1/60 Scale DX Toy Thread Ver.5

Same here... Have no feelings with the clear-parted model kit too. I am glad they haven't applied the decal idea onto the DX... I like all of them. Damn! What did I just suggest? -

It was on preorder starting from May 18. Bandai warns about paint-chipping because of the special paint, etc. 15000 yen IIRC... Not very sure. -
Personally I bought a house (actually just a flat) too; as I think if I have to pay [so much] every month for rent, I may as well use it to pay for the mortgage. But then, I suppose the only difference is the down payment. I am unsure about other countries, but in where I live it's typcially 30% of the price of the house. There are a lot of investment options and opportunities for a bulk of money of that size. So it's a decision whether you think you can earn more by investing with the bulk of money (with risks of course), or use it to get a house which is more secure? There's no right or wrong, just different views. BTW, one more personal thought is that even the price of a house gets hell-low, a house is still a house, and you can live in it. Investment papers and contracts are another story. Yeah, I'll never get rich, but I know I'll always have a shelter.

I feel sad for you... Personally, I won't buy a replacement... The MF movie would be coming up this year, so we expect some kind of new variation coming up. And also by then you will have got pass of this moaning period. About how to fix it... Just a thought... On first thought super glue won't work because you need to force it into the head socket again, and that would break it again for sure. How about use a file or sand paper to reduce the ball joint thing first, so you don't need to apply much force to put it back in? It would be very floppy then. I would then use some blu-tac to fill in the void and keep the friction. The nowadays super glue are very strong... I have fixed the ear-piece of my VF-1S (similar to your case that the peg was broken) and it has been intact afterwards (touch wood). -
I know people are complaining over how the bright yellow stripes contradict the LV idea, but come on, it's just a bad name. Probably Graham may suggest a better one to Yamato. I am getting it for sure. It's not entirely creative, but it looks good to me. P.S. I believe weathering spray-work like the 1/48 LV1 would cost us a lot more. Think that is a special, extra procedure to do the weathering work.

But the release dates for Max DYRL and Kakizaki TV 1As are still May 21... We'll see.

Right! There are the rectangular holes, which are easy to identify. -

The difference between the 2 versions... Looking at it again, and I was wrong to say that the fold booster would fit on the old version. So the old version only has 2 holes? The new one has six... -
I am glad that I live in somewhere that the Macross toys are relatively cheap to get, and I don't have to forfeit anything to get them. I am also lucky that I am only (mainly) interested in Macross toys right now. Unlike Gundam, it is possible to "collect them all". (even a hobby shop may not be able to stock every single model of all the different Gundam series and product lines) The downside is that generally the living space here is so limited that while I can buy all what I want, it is difficult to display them all. Not unless you crowd them together, which is not good at all. The world is a fair place! P.S. I am not interested in luxury goods or meals. I am a Taurus.

I have a 2nd version, but I do not seem to find any indication on the box. I am afraid that the sure way is to look at the content... There should be 2 rectangular holes on the back, behind the head.
