  1. It's not from Yamato. It just works with Yamato product.
  2. I wonder if they come painted?
  3. I don't know where to put this... It's not about any specific valks... Probably I'll just create some place for all peripherals? http://www.yamato-toys.com/blog/index.php?infolnk=index Cockpit Ladder: What is this container thing? It looks so familiar... But I can't remember now...
  4. Let's forget about the yellow arrows. The whole design is a new paint scheme. But now we have TV style hands (just my assumption from the description of "4 posing hands"; unless they make new posing mechanical hands now) and a DYRL pilot figure? That is not consistent. It's already mentioned somehow on this board that the TV 1S would be there someday, as far as the rumor goes. Personally I vote for a TV Focker figure, because we have the TV Hikaru pilot figure already. (Of course both would be better, but I won't expect too much)
  5. Thanks for the info. I am still wishing for regular MF characters... Ozma... Catherine... Luca (yes I need him to have a complete Skull squad)... Nanase... Pilot suit Michael... Or at least SMS jacket. A couple more Klan Klans... Micro and macro...
  6. Shall we petition to Lord Graham? In fact the set comes with 4 posing hands; which means they are assuming this is a TV version (DYRL only get 2 extra hands). But in the offical page, we still see a DYRL Focker... We NEED a TV Focker (oh, I mean both the pilot figure, and another TV-accurate VF-1S). Pleasssseeee?
  7. Thanks for the news! Are they all super deformed figures?
  8. I feel so stupid. Thanks again for the good news!
  9. How do you manage to read from the pic? But man, I am happy to get confirmed.
  10. It's definitely not the best name they can use. I think VF-1S Prototype or something like that would stir more interests in people. Too bad they can't create new part designs (can they?); otherwise throwing in a piece or two different parts for "prototype design" would be even better.
  11. I'd like to see a "firebird" custom for Kakazaki's valk. It's semi-canon I suppose.
  12. If you can't read Japanese, why would you think Yamato haven't called it that way? It's right there in the name... Yes, in Japanese. I won't argue with the yellow stripe. It contradicts the LV idea, but it looks good on a Focker.
  13. While some people don't like it, it is officially named VF-1S Low Visibility.
  14. THAT is an imposter alright! The Ranka looks ok though. Still, I can't paint.

    What do I want?

I don't know what you want, but if I have to pick one, I'll get VF-11B. Personally, I still don't give DX a very high regard. But that's only me. And also because there's still the MF movie, you will get many other choices in MF mech toys (even just in terms of 25G). And VF-11B is pretty much perfected. You probably won't see any major improvement on the same valk in the next 10 years.
  16. End of August. Have been waiting for a DX 25S for almost a year! I am less itchy now because I am working on the model Armored 25S
  17. Have seen the GNU 1J and Max 1A in person... so to speak. They are being sold at US$35 here, for reference, maybe better deals in other shops. Impression is that the pics look better than the real thing. Overall I like the script of GNU much better than the Revoltech, so is the paint job. However, not enough to pay 2.5x for it... On the other hand, I see that some older GNU VFs are being sold at US$14. Probably there is a lot of room for price drop~ I'll wait.
  18. Please see my previous post: I prefer the TV VF-1S comes with a Focker. We can find a TV Hikaru pilot figure already, but we do not have a TV Focker yet.
  19. I have asked previously whether VF100 = ROBOT 魂 ... And it seemed so to everyone back then. So finally, the HCM/ GFF story has come to Macross. Just curious, how do you know it's VF-25 but not VF-1 (or others)? Thanks for the news!
  20. Because the VF-1R is not a Macross mech... It's a Robotech mech.
  21. Your post is inspiring; and yes, the guitar controller and the mouth are just the more symbolic parts. Sing a song to beat monsters? That ruined the nice idea the original SDF created: music wakes up the culture thing within people to cease wars. In M7, music is magic, as simple as that. You can see the music waves expel a monster. (And thankfully the producers know better to come up with another good reason in MF.) I don't mind that kind of story design in animes; but in a Macross? Even if Gubaba thinks I am silly, I still have to say "Macross should not be like this". To say the better parts of M7; I like it when it's about the Max and his families. In fact in the latter half when Basara and Gamlin become fast friends, I like the parts when they help out and appreciate each other ("the guys thing") too.
  22. I didn't see any flame bait... Do you feel like to flame now? I still think guitar controller doesn't belong to Macross. "A fighter should not be piloted by a guitar in the Macross universe." Does it sound silly? At least in G Gundam, it's a parallel universe, not the UC. And for the songs... It's totally personal. Just my personally preference.
  23. Yes, the 1J CF brown color is intentionally lighter to be different from the VF-1A CF, so said Yamato.
