  1. Right... We have people from Europe, North America, Australia and Asia... At least in the Toys forum.
  2. The model kit used to have more details than even the lineart... Including decals. (I love my VF-25S model kit!)
  3. About transforming... Hmm... I've read from MW that people transform their DX alot and things are fine. I only transform it once or twice and the leg joints are already loosening. (for both Michael and Luca valks) I transformed only once for Alto (still in its battroid mode now), so it looks okay thus far. But I've heard about paint chipping off too here? I used decal for my model kits, and my bad handling messes up the decals a lot of times. I never transformed my models after the 2nd one. But I believe if you use stickers it would be fine. In terms of carefree-ness, it's the VF100. But it's a part-former, after all. And it's so cheap so you don't really care.
  4. Thanks for the photo updates! I've heard rumors that they would be released earlier (in July), but given that it's already late July, and the official site still says August, that's a rumor alright.
  5. IIRC, I asked about Klan's Megahouse figure and her upcoming swimsuit one in three shops. Similar answers. The Ichi A prize Klan is something I observed from Yahoo auction of Japan... How sad! Well, as a side note, personally I think the MH and Ichi Klan figures did not capture her facial expression well. Finally the swimsuit one gets her right with the silly smile and tiger teeth, but the swimming suit is boring.
  6. No kidding. In fact, back then on Yahoo Japan, the price of the Ichi Klan Klan A prize figure dropped lower than 2000 yen. Or maybe lower. Sheryl's price held strong, and Ranka's price was okay too. But people just didn't like Klan Klan. I don't really understand why.
  7. Personally I love Klan too, but as I talked to multiple shops, they smiled bitterly and said they won't carry her figures. I don't know why... To me, Sheryl > Klan (either Macro or Micro) > Ranka (I like Ranka too, just like the other 2 better)
  8. IMHO, if you are looking for a VF-25 with a decent size and good look, the model kit is the right way to go, although it is not perfect. I am no modeller too but it looks no worse than the DX or the VF100 already even if plain-building. All you need is some time and patience...
  9. Ah you reminded me on that stupid sniper rifle of 25G. Yes, that sucks. I forgot because I already took it away and give it a gunpod instead.
  10. The 25F paint job is bad; but I have no complaints on the 25S or the 25G. In terms of QC, I very much agree that as a market leader Bandai should have done much better -- but this complaint extends to the DX as well. DX is a floppy, inconsistent-colored, expensive piece of toy too.
  11. I may be a minority, but I love my VF100 25S: The 25F face paintwork is awful on the other hand.

    YF-25

http://www.macrossf.com/ticket.html It will be bundled in the ticket selling now...
  13. It's not from Yamato; the MWers told that this is a company which used to work for Yamato on contracts. So it won't be coming with Milia... I don't know how and where to buy it at all. I would buy one set for sure if it comes painted at US$30 or below.
  14. Hmmm... Yes. I am itchy all over for not getting any Yammies or MF toys in July (thus far)! P.S. I didn't get the Gamlin 22S because I am waiting for M&M version. P.P.S. I did get the model kit for VF-25S Armored, but that doesn't count because that is not a toy.
  15. The words do exist. Just a quick search on Yahoo Japan: http://dictionary.goo.ne.jp/leaf/jn/%25B5%...6%25F5/m0b1r1e/ It's basically the same "empty" meaning as its Chinese counterpart.
  16. I've learnt not to argue or ponder on any illogical issues in M7.
  17. I believe "collector's value" has two meanings; one of course it means you can sell it for profits; the other is that it is a good product itself that you enjoy it yourself. 1/48 is definitely a good toy in its own right that even though I am going to collect the 1/60 v2, I am not going to let go of my 1/48 collection. You can look at a v1 1/60 and v2 1/60 and say "now this one obsoletes the old one!" (still some may disagree...) But when you look at a 1/48 and a 1/60 v2, they are just different things. To me.
  18. I agree with (VFTF1?) that it depends on the size of your collection. If you have a good number of them, don't sell it. If you have only 4-6, sell 3 or 4 of them. Money wise, I doubt how much they worth now. Brand new 1/48s for some models are still available...
  19. I don't know... I don't know my Yamato Monster very well... I put it back into the box after a while (small living space...)... But the prototype RD Monster above looks strikingly similar to the Y Monster to me. I know we are talking about VB-6 all along and they should be similar... But it just looks THAT similar to me.
  20. Let's kneel and pray that they do not invent another series and only in that series you get a full Skull Squad (AGAIN) and a VF-27. And they may leave the VF-171 for later... I know many of MWers love it, but face it, we're freaks.
  21. It has been almost a full year since the first DX is released. Still no VF-27?
  22. I am a fool. I am really, really interested in those.
  23. I am sure I would get used to it. But I'll still like my darker gray version better. Well done Bandai!
  24. If this is the "upgraded" super part they have been talking about for the movie version, I am happy with my current TV version.
  25. Just looked up M3... I think the 1/48 GBP is a cross breed of the two...
