  1. Personally I don't like the flying stone tablet... I can endure the bird man though. It's just a machine made like a bird after all. But the stone looks like it was flying magically to me. I don't like magics in Macross!
  2. You'll also see an elf flying through space sucking life forces, a space whale, and you know what, music expelling monsters like an AT field!
  3. In other words... Except all those mechs with a mouth. You're a "traditional" Macross lover. So am I!
  4. I've been accused of "being someone who thinks he knows Macross better than the producer", or something like that too, by commenting that such magical creatures do not fit well into the Macross universe.
  5. Things will get better around episode 30... I used to visit forums and watch M7 at the same time, it's easier that way. I have no love for M7 mechs... But I am getting M&M 22S for sure. I might get the other M7 valks just because I love Yamato toys. If it's of MF DX quality, I'll skip.
  6. Sweet dreams. But not entirely impossible! Not very probable either for a S type...
  7. This would come on top of my list if this dream comes true. Bring on the Super and Armor parts in a set! I'll get them all sooner or later. Although given the size of the 1/72 Armored 25S, I wonder how big it would be for a 1/49 25S armored?
  8. Me! It justifies me to get the bundled set. And the grey visor does make the 1J look a bit different. Given that I would rush to get a TV 1S for the black arrows in the head, the gray visor is already a bigger difference.
  9. Overally the 1/60 GBP would fit much better, that the head would not look as small as the 1/48 counterpart too.
  10. Not sure about the missile hatches... Haven't got one myself, but seen it on Yahoo HK Auction. A long box this time! I see it at HK$368 (around US$47 for others' reference) the cheapest as of yet...
  11. 1/60 will give a better proportion, but 1/48 always give you a bigger size. And the size make it bulkier and a feel of more heavily armored. Eyes of beholders again. As I always say, 1/48 and 1/60 toys are different things.
  12. The VF-25F Armored is out already~
  13. I've done the same thing for so many times, that I think you're being sarcastic to me.
  14. I am confused too... It says Hikaru's 1J, so it's supposed to be the TV version (he didn't pilot one in the movie). But as Omegablue pointed out, the visor is gray for this one... Which is not the TV version. EDIT: Just checked M3... The TV version has gray visor too: EDIT2: I looked at a lineart in Macross Chronicle, and the TV plain 1J does not have gray visor. Now this is what I mean by confused.
  15. Please check post #966.. (It's delayed to August!)
  16. Personally, I don't need a transforming Monster. The shuttle thing is bland and the battroid is ugly. The gerwalk mode is all what I care. I don't need a Monster toy to be posable (it's meant to be an artillery). It just has to look big and monstrous.
  17. I am more concerned about space than money... It's just that I live in a city that toys are relatively cheap and housing is absolutely expesnive.
  18. Just speculation; the book may not be re-printed (or, with no definite plan to), so it is discontinued to HLJ. Because it is not something they can restock, so it's not stated as out of stock either. HMV just hasn't sold out the stocks yet so it is still in stock. BTW, issue #23 is a HOT issue; I used to purchase my Macross Chronicle in a shop and their MC stocks usually last for a week or more. For this issue it was sold out in 2 days.
  19. Yamato official says that it's changed from July to August too... But as a sucker who check its site every day... I remember it used to be August... So puzzled! And yes, let's look forward to the CF 1A! It's already July 22, and they still don't give a concrete day. Let's assume July 31...
  20. I never notice that the VT-1 was scheduled for July... Pretty sure it's August all along (check Grand Cannon's post in this board!). Why they said it's changed from July to August is beyond my understanding.
  21. The YF-19 prototype 3 and 4 would be delayed to August...
  22. From the official site, it seems that the CF 1A would be issued in July (originally scheduled in August).
  23. MHO... Phalanx is safe... But the SDF may not be 1/2000 anymore. P.S. SPARTAN! SPARTAN! SPARTAN!
  24. It must be something not re-issued lately and something attractive enough. My guess is that it may be the 1/48 Super VF-1J DX set... Or the Monster ("attractive" again because of MF). 1/60 v2 are too new to be "revived", M+ valks have been re-issued, M0 valks - ah, there is also the Shin VF-0A combo. SV-51s have been slow in sales, and VF-0S has been re-issued. Similar arguments for the 1/48s... Either re-issued lately or not sold well enough except for Super VF-1J maybe.
