  1. Really...? Just checked http://books.shopro.co.jp/macross/goods/index.html , and the 1J seems to be a clean one? And they have only 2 releases thus far. Or is it just announced in the past few days that it isn't updated yet?

Very much agreed! If I could only have one valk, it would be a 1/48 one. If I can collect only one line, I go for the 1/60. The 1/60 v2 is great, but the 1/48 has its own charm too. P.S. I am collecting both lines thus far.
  3. In case you don't know... The weathered 1J is of 1/60 scale. Ignore me if you do.
  4. Checked already... The missiles from the ghost set have a very different mount.
  5. From Yamato official site: The 2 YF-19 new paints would be released on August 20.
  6. You are right... And the tail fins should be flattened too.
  7. Similar case here. I know it's out there but I can do nothing about it. The shop I preordered is ordering from ANOTHER distributor, or so he claimed. So I have to wait. EDIT: Just browsed TD; it seems that it is basically out of stock already, and the price goes up to HK$1380 (it was HK$1150 last night) in a couple of shops which still carry it. It probably won't make a difference these 2 days even if you travel to those locations before the next shipment...?
  8. Although I am already in for 1/60, I still want more 1/48, exclusive as they would be from now on. VF-1D please! And I can consider it done. I won't ask for VT-1 and VE-1; that would be a lot of new molds.
  9. Do you mean the 1/48 or 1/60 TV Kakizaki? The 1/60 one is released some time ago, the 1/48 one is due in September.
  10. If you did it on purpose to demonstrate "contradictive action", you did a great job.
  11. I remember seeing on Yahoo JP auction that someone made an extensible neck for sale. Bandai just doesn't care enough.
  12. If I haven't preordered it, I could have gone out and grabbed it for a cheaper price. DARN
  13. What do you mean by "everything" is better for 1/60? Is the 1/60 bigger too? More gimmicks? Just wish to state a point that for a proper review, you need to be more explicit. If you didn't say review but just photo sharing, people would have different expectations and fewer comments (complaints).
  14. Been told that the Armored 25S is available! The shop I preordered still hasn't had it yet...
  15. I really hope so. But just checked Yahoo JP auction, and no one is selling it as stocks yet. It's been a year, damn it!
  16. Thanks. You guys are so cool. I can't remember a thing!
  17. Broken? Which part(s)? Edit: edited after your edit. I am mourning for you...
  18. I've forgotten this shot already... - Why does Alto use the super parts of Michael? - Why does Bandai make it SO pink?
  19. According to the book... The difference of a 1J is that, it's made by a Japan manufacturer, and so they have better QA (right). The overall performance is thus better (production excellence), and also with better software, better firearm controls and target locking, things like that.
  20. I would have RECONSIDERED if I were the OP. The REVISED VE-1 is done RIGHT and to be RELEASED in September. It would ROUGHLY cost only one-fifth as much as the 1984 Bandai RELEASE REGARDING the price. I have RESERVED my unit RECENTLY and am REALLY looking forward to it. It has a RADOME that you won't see on its other RELATIVES. It would also be REDESIGNED with the a new crotch which RETROSPECTS to the 1/48 design for RELATIVELY easier transformation. READ this page for further REFERENCE: http://www.yamato-toys.com/items/detail.php?gid=1388 . REGARDS, ff95gj P.S. How many years ban do I RECEIVE?
  21. I don't have the book on hand now; but I think not all VFs make to the SDF. Still, the 6 VF-1J: 8 VF-1A ratio looks too high to me. Also, how many 1S you see in the series actually? Seems to be less than 1/15 of chance...?
  22. And I never know there's a handful of VF-1G until the book. Will Yamato...
  23. I got 3 regults too! I don't like the Revy VFs, but love the Revy Regults. They are just RIGHT.
  24. Can Yamato give us decals instead of stickers too? I don't know about the costs; but stickers sometime cheapen the overall crispy look of the Yammies. At least for the VF-1's; they have the economies of scale for sure.
  25. Forgotten to add; that RVF-25 is the model kit. I didn't want to transform the DX RVF-25 (battroid now) so I used the model version for shooting.
