Well, it may be a smart answer to avoid future inconsistency issues, but it'a a lazy answer to me. One of the fun factors of sequels is the continuity. You want to know what goes on in the same universe. You want to know what happened before. Linking up of events. However, Kawamori doesn't want to spend time and brainjuice to come up with a complete, intact storyline. So in future, if we see anything contradictive, it's just "different interpretation". It's not anything ingenius, just laziness.

DARN! It doesn't say anything about web exclusive in the product description, but in the winter promotion column. It was nice to have it for regular price; but web exclusive stuffs are mostly inflated. I hate web exclusives.

Frankly, while I too wish to see something new over the worn VF-1 series, I am really interested to see what they come up with for the VF-1's.

First of all, the truth: I am cheap and confess that I download anime to watch most of the time. Now it comes to personal thoughts. I simply cannot justify myself to pay US$700 to buy the Macross Frontier DVD/ Bluray. This is a sum I would not pay anyhow; regardless whether I can download it or not. Therefore, in a sense, I hurt nobody in doing so. On the other hand, because I did watch MF, I pay a lot more on the merchandizes than if I haven't watched it. Therefore, in reality because of my pirating, they earn the money from me. And more thoughts: I always think most artists (movies and pop musics) are way overpaid. I am pretty sure if their jobs are paid just like a... programmer, there would still be talented people with the enthusiasm to fill the ranks. I have bought few CDs and DVDs compared to most people. I mostly listen to the radio and watch TV. I do pay for console games though (programming is hard).

The price for the VF-1 GNUs are dropping! Already down 20%. I think I would be getting them too when the price is right... Damn it, the Kakizaki 1A is web exclusive!!!

I am already wondering whether the M&M 1Js, while they are stated to be Oct releases, would they become Thanksgiving gifts or Christmas gifts. BTW, Sept 1 is just 1 day delayed as opposed to Aug 31. They really can't manage it to save some reputation?

Ha! Yamato has made a mistake this morning (seriously!), and they just corrected it. So the VT-1 has delayed to Sept 1, and VE-1 is Sept TBA .

The VE-1 would be released on Sept 1! It's earlier than I've thought.

I am not sure if this has been brought up before... Just that I happened to have watched this episode last weekend... In the OVA "Fleet of the Strongest Women", which is about the Meltlandi fleet threat, there is an ace Chlore (wh--at a name) who used to be on par with Millia, and she beat up Basara at the start of the episode. There's one statement from Mylene that "even Basara cannot dodge her attack!" So does that make Max > Millia = Chlore > Basara?
