Hmm... Sorry that I don't agree with this. GL and M7's differences are more than just Yoko. I am shallow, but not that shallow. MHO is that Gurren Lagann (along with Sailor Moon) does not pretend that the whole plot is "scientific". GL is all about hot-blooded manliness. Drill to the sky! Kick the logic to the curb! M7 tries to explain the proculture, spirit power, song power, blah blah blah. Basara is reckless, headstrong, stubborn but not hot-blooded TO ME. Maybe my problem to appreciate M7 is that, I don't love music that much. In GL, the hot-bloodedness is about trust in yourself, trust in comrades, friendship, etc. Yoko helps too. In M7, Basara refuses to work with others and keep people at arm's length. He is all into his own music. I like the show better when he becomes fast friends with Gamlin, but that is quite late in the series already.

I don't believe in you... I believe in myself who believe in me!

I won't doubt they would come up with repaints for the VT-1... It's YAMATO we're talking about, after all. Just that they can't re-use it as MUCH as the VF-1 mold.
-
The MSRP is higher for both VT-1 and VE-1... I believe it's all about that they can't milk the molds as much as the VF-1's.
-
Speaking of hot-blooded manliness and defying logic, I have no problem in appreciating Gurren Lagann though. WHO DO YOU THINK I AM?!

I just tried; the back boosters wouldn't lock and can't hold by friction. At least I can't make it work. The base color: The VF-1D has a darker yellow-orange base color. The main orange: The VT-1 has a darker orange. So in fact the color doesn't really match when I put the 1D head on VT-1. Although the difference may not be apparent first sight.

m0n5t3r is exactly right... Got it in In's Point of Yau Ma Tei at HK$988.

The VT-1 has a rather different backpack... So I am unsure about the boosters. (the leg armors are the same obviously) It will hang on there, but one may not be able to lock it properly. Will try tonight!

G Gundam has a lot of sense after I watched M7.

If I remember correctly... It's the model kit that comes with a Klan. BTW, the Q-Rea looks great to me, but the VF-25 script looks strange to me. Given that it is not transformable, it still look fatter than it should. The chest is too long and too low. Let's see how the final product looks. Still, it's inexpensive and I would probably get them too...

Or a Sheryl-outfit variant for M. Bison.

I hope so too. But given that they are even reluctant to do a Spartan, I have no expectation on Yamato for the figures. Their Votoms pilot figures are very expensive too. Figma would be great. I'll buy a dozen of them.

Yamato has brought me back to the toy community... Before the 1/48 valks, I probably haven't bought any toys (except video consoles and games) for around 20 years. There were some model kits, but that should be under 2 dozens (again, in 20 years). I may grow tried of the toys too some day, but for the moment I still admire their products.

Nice said. People just have different preferences. I still like my yamato valks a lot, 1/48 or 1/60.

Old Isamu Sorry that I don't really understand the shoulder questions... They have to lock in gerwalk mode?

Hmm... You mean, while you think he is not as good as Ozma and Roy, Alto is the best pilot...?
-
It could have made better I agree; still I think it's okay if it's a regular item. I would actually buy multiple of them if so. But as non Japanese resident, the web-exclusive items are crazily inflated and I need to consider if I am going to get one.

I want to add too: On day 1 when it was out of the box, the wings could not lock to the leg slots. I was puzzled then because the 25th anni version does not have this problem and we are talking about the same mold. It is now verified to be the assembly worker's problem; when I tranformed it back to fighter mode, the wings can now lock properly.
