I agree that the DX 27 looks good. I frowned at the DX 25 starting from released pictures to the final products (but I still got them. Curse of a MWer). The DX VF-27 looks even better than its model counterpart IMHO. I don't know if I am getting the Tornado 25F. The design was meh. If it's cheap I may get it under impulse buying.

I am wondering how keen Yamato is on the M7 line? It seems to me that they are holding the 11C for 2010, which may be a M7 year. Millia might be manufactured already, as it was originally scheduled in Nov.

Yamato is going to release both a pre-assembled version and a unassembled kit.

It's web shop exclusive so it's going to be more expensive to us overseas people (think that was my concern too back then). Doh!

That photo is from a cheaply printed slip in the 1/48 Kakizaki package; so although it does look darker, I am unsure it's the model's color or the printer's limited palette.

I just received a SMS from the shop that the Kakizaki is ready for pickup.

I have no interest in Brera at all, to the point that I think VF-27 is boring. The VF-27 would be wicked if piloted by someone more interesting.

I was too young to read anything at all back then, but the latest materials describe that the S, J, A have different performance.

I certainly smell sour grapes here. If we are to argue physics and logics in Japanese animes, we should as well quit TVs and movies and go jogging now. To me, Macross F is entertaining. Characters are likeable, mechs are cool, songs are good. But I am not going to learn any sniper tricks from it or satisfy my sexual fantasies with it.

Personally, I would grade the DX about the same as the VF100, if not lower. It looks like a product made 10 years ago, or from a small company who can't do 3-D CAD designs. The DX VF-27 looks good though. On the other hand, I give high regards to the RD VF-25F, although I don't like the super mode.

A size comparsion between the 1/60 and the Robot Spirit... It's funny that the 1/60 one is now cheaper than the RS one.

Sorry Graham I am wondering how many of you hate Graham for that "nay I don't care about the 25f but here it is" thing?

I have to add that personally I think they have great poseability. It's the best MF toy IMHO. It's still chunky when compared to the model kits, but I think it's deliberately geared towards that direction as a pure-battroid toy. More sturdy look and ready for melee I mean. I'm going to collect them all!
