  1. See if you figure out the "story" within.
  2. Yes, those are the YF-19 Prototype 4 and VF-22S 1/60.
  3. Now you remind me. I always think the SDF (and its decendents) looks familiar somehow since I was a kid. So it looks like a Christmas tree to me! Tall, towering, blinking with lights... No wonder I feel happy looking at it.
  4. You'll need the stand for the arms in cruiser mode. The elbows are okay and not loose, but the arms are really too heavily to hang it on their own. I must say the design makes the arms attached very well already, but you just can't fight gravity. The shoulders... It's not in the "frontal" direction (what should I call that?) which is the v-tight part. It's ratcheted sideways IIRC. The knee joints are ratcheted too. I think so is the leg joints... Sorry, I have bad memories.
  5. On the box it says 50cm long in cruise mode and 38cm in attack mode. And it has swappable hands. One set with the moving fingers and one fixed.
  6. Joint-wise it's the same as Gamlin 22S and YF-21. Tight shoulders, (quite) loose ankles.
  7. I think the pics speak for themselves mostly. The only complaint I have for the Quarter is that the shoulders are tight as a v... very tight shoulder. So tight that I hesitated for 15 minutes to read the manual again and again to make sure they are supposed to be rotated.
  8. I'll rotate the pilot and take a couple of battroid shots; but sorry that I won't transform it back to fighter mode yet. It's too difficult for me! And yes the color is on the pink side, especially when compared to the 1J color. I think it's designed to match the pale blue of Max 22S.
  9. That's right, one can rotate the turrets and adjust the angles.
  10. It was released in Oct!
  11. A comparsion pic
  12. Thanks everyone! In fact I made two mistakes asaik now: rotating the cockpit (thanks for reminding) and sliding up the back thrusters in some pictures. Please let me know if I still miss out some! I don't know the 22s as well as the vf-1.
  13. Saw it on the street.. But haven't got it yet...
  14. I'll pay for a web exclusive Luca. MAKE ME ONE It's just sad to see a missing crew.
  15. Quick shots Still waiting for Max's 22S... So I gave him the blue YF-19... To those who looks for a female Millia... Nay... Slim as before
  16. Millia VF-22S is already out. Got it already!
  17. I know I am repeating some ideas, but take it as an extra vote: - Cockpit ladder (that one from T-Rex) - Baby Pod (as the one from T-Rex again) - Side covers (like the one in 1/48 armored parts) - More hands: we need more hands in different poses. Also, the current 1/60 fix-posed hands are too large. - Different decals: I believe Yamato already has this in mind when they plan for the plain white 1S. But not those SD girls (we've seen) please... I want the normal proportioned Minmay, Misa, Claudia (maybe not), Millia, bridge bunnies and those half naked (or naked) nose arts styles. I think decals are cheap to make? - "Flying missiles": similar to the upcoming GBP-1 web exclusive set, we can have flying missiles from the Super parts and/or under wing - TV Focker 1S conversion pack: if Yamato is not going to release a TV 1S... everything you need to convert the DYRL VF-1S into a TV version. TV head (black arrows), Focker figure and whatever differences - DYRL 1A conversion pack: as above. But sincerely, I don't think this one would sell, though I really want 1/60 DYRL 1A CF heads. I need a COMPLETE line in the 1/60. - Deluxe Pack: heads with LED visors (The 1/60 is small, is it doable?) - SDF bridge: I've read this great idea from MWF. Make a 1/60 SDF head/ bridge background set. I'll pay US$300 for it. Or more will all details right and lighting effects. - Fun things: Budweiser missiles and the like - Spartan and enemy mechs (sorry can't help when there's an opportunity to talk to Yamato) As a side note, I actually wish Yamato to release 1/48 hands too. It may not be transformable; but the only complaint I have for 1/48 is about the chicken hands. P.S. Give me Spartan and enemy mechs. Oh did I mention that already?
  18. I am waiting for them. The China dress Ranka is one of the trio on Macross Launch poster. That's the sole reason I got that Ranka, in case they do release all three of them!
  19. I am furious when the people tried to do that and thought it would add appeal to the general public. HELL. It is so obvious that 95%+ audience are Macross fans. And absolute 0% of them entered the theatre because Minmay now named Akina, and all of them would hate this idiotic change. (see how I am mad with this?)
  20. Given where I live, the "web shop exclusive" would mean the kit version would turn out to be more expensive or the same priced as the preassembled version. But I agree that for people in, say North America, the kit version may be cheaper both in goods cost and shipping cost.
  21. Scheduled on Dec 29.
  22. The plain 1S (preassembled) would be out by Dec 22. How long it would take to reach me?
  23. The Millia 22S would be out on Dec 18. Max 22S Dec 29
