I can't see that the hip placement is right this time; it's the same as the VF-25. And no the hip movement doesn't improve because of the VF-27 design; the ratchet joint under the intake is the one which provides movement, not the hip joint, which can't rotate much on the DX anyways. See the 25F for an example: And it's easier to scratch the waist than the VF-25 intake, regardless of the no-intake design of VF-27. The arms are again excellent. But with static lower limbs... It's difficult to pose well! -

Was too late at night to type... - The bigger head eliminated the short neck problem. - The arms articulation is excellent. The elbows can bend almost to 180 degrees. - The hip articulation is worse than that of the VF-25. I can't make any pose out of it... Maybe it's just my problem. - The tail fins are not vertical; they bend inwards. Is that the anime design? - The joints are just tight right - not too tight like the Quarter, and strong enough to hold. Except for the wrists, which is understandable. Can hold gun in one hand (thus far). - In battroid mode, the hips (normally the intakes for VF-1 and VF-25; but not for VF-27) would scratch the waist more easily than the VF-25. - I was happy fro Fighter to Gerwalk. Disappointed at the battroid. - Just my personal opinion! -

I thought it would be much better than the VF-25... But besides the short neck problem, it's more or less the same... The hip articulation is even worse than the 25... Or it's just me... -

I love my Revy Regults! But personally, I am not too thrilled by the old Revy VF-1, and hate the new Revy VF-1. -

Yay!!!!! Hopefully the VF-27 would not fall victim to be a bad QC product owing to the "Pre-Chinese New year" syndrome - when the workers are hurrying back to their home town (village) for New Year, they are prone to perform rushed jobs. The Revy Grendizer is sufferred... -
Painting a 1/60 pilot? The best I can do is the DYRL Focker who was smashed to paste.
-
We have the Hikaru pilot already from the VF-1J... So we should get a TV Focker this time, shouldn't we?
-
Thanks alot! Now there is the reason that we need a TV 1S!
-
Zinjo was right; it goes with a promotional package of the Armored VF-25F. Some local shops have some extra copies to sell it seems... Bought them some time ago...

Besides the floppiness, I don't have much complaint about the yamato vb-6.
-
(I don't know where this would fit... So I start a new thread... Moderators please move it as required) I understand that Yamato would be very discreet in making new molds. Or even new colors. The angelbird becomes a order-to-manufacture product. However, we all know that Yamato loves to milk Focker - I think it's the most recycled model for both 1/60 and 1/48 line. I am wondering if we will ever see the TV Focker. Experts please correct me, but I think all it takes is just to throw in the TV 1J parts, paint it the 1S way (black stripes), black arrows on the head, and include a TV Focker figure and TV hands. Oh, please, nice boxart please! I'll get both the 1/60 and 1/48. make the 1/48 one a Macross Chronicle exclusive maybe.

I would buy almost everything about Macross from T-Rex, but they won't sell to me.
-
The facial expression doesn't match too IMHO. She seems to be smiling; but I expect something more in battle mode. Not necessarily yelling or angry, but more determined or solemn.
-
I mean hope Yamato will finish the 1/60 line for us all. The destroids, the enemy mechs, the enemy giants.
-
If there would be news of the reactive armor I would get an extra VF-0S. But it seems to me that we won't see it any time soon.

The shop I ordered the Kaki called me to pick it up (a couple of weeks ago). It wasn't included in the original package (which I collected a couple of months ago), but Yamato seems to remember that they owe us the TWO sets of hands as advertized on Macross Chronicle site.
-
I'vw forgotten to mention earlier that I've been called by the shop I preordered the Kaki. Yamato has sent TWO SET of TV hands as supplements - yes, that means they compensate for Max's missing hands in Kakizaki's set! One set = 2 fists (L+R), 1 gun holding hand ®, 1 open hand (L) = the usual TV stuffs.
