  1. Graham, my 1S and 1A said thank you. They feel so strong now...
  2. Thanks for the pics! Gee, how I envy you!
  3. According to the offical site: Old 1/48 Packing: H370xW360xD140 (mm) = 18648 cm3 in volume New 1/48: 370mmx290mm×130mm = 13949 cm3 in volume Max VF-22S(for comparsion): 300mm×360mm×100mm = 10800 cm3 in volume So the new packing has a similar face as the Max VF-22S box, but thicker. And the volume is reduced by 25%. If the boxart is nice, I would get an extra Focker 1S.
  4. Isn't it including shipping, the total is only around US$40? That's cheaper than the asked preorder price in my shop >_<
  5. Damn! This is much cheaper than what I've preordered for! It's even cheaper than what I've paid for the non-exclusive Klan Q-Rare (before shipping)!
  6. It's readily available in HK in shops!
  7. I really want a scout Regult too.
  8. Did I mention that it's supposed to be 1/100 in scale, so I used that VF-25S for comparision?
  9. I am not sure about the half-girls. I have part 1, but the paints are not very good.

    SCOOP thread!

    Reissue with new packing -- 1/48 VF-1S Focker & Hikaru: http://www.yamato-toys.com/items/detail.php?gid=1601 http://www.yamato-toys.com/items/detail.php?gid=1602 YF-21 & 19: http://www.yamato-toys.com/items/detail.php?gid=1599 http://www.yamato-toys.com/items/detail.php?gid=1600 The contents are the same, except that YF-21 won't have the stand included this time.

    SCOOP thread!

I wasn't aware of a "free" fold booster in the green VF-27! However, given the higher price of a damashii product, and the look of that pink booster, I'll still pass.
  12. They don't. There's no bending at the knees, though you can rotate it.
  13. My revys are fine... But again it might be me only... They are not very stable without a stand. I think they are nice display pieces, but I still long for bandai or yamato to come up with a more sophisticated one. Though I understand the price would be two or threefold for the same size.
  14. It actually looks nice now that it's sitting on the shelf and I am looking from 6 feet away - and no I am not being sarcastic. The toy looks simple, as it was in the show back in the 80s. The proportions are right and it balances well to stand (unlike Revy which needs a stand). Still, personally I still think some extra decoration/ decal/ panel lines would enhance the look of it. It's too bland in the "face" to me.
  15. Appearance: OK, but not very detailed as Revy Paint quality: OK, but not really clean Articulation: Forget it Price: Acceptable
  16. I use a wooden earpick. Seriously. The size and the curve is perfect for getting any landing gears out.
  17. Thus far I am not too impressed... Will look at it in person to judge again.
  18. I would complain the same regarding the pilot suit Sheryl. I am still speculating on the Emotion figures of Sheryl and Ranka. Well, Ranka seems to look fine but I don't like what I've seen about Sheryl this time. So far. Have to see it in person to decide...
  19. Sorry, but the first thought was - "ah! The 1J is so sweet". After all, it's a version 2.
  20. I don't know... But I can pose better with the legs of VF-25 than the VF-27. I must have missed something...
  21. That really sucks! I feel so bad for you. I'll probably never transform it to battroid again.
  22. Is it near where you split and bend the fuselage? I think that part is VERY susceptible to scratches.
  23. Am told Sino was out of them, but still available in Richmond and Animate (news by yesterday). And it's a bit more expensive already... But I believe there would be a cheaper shipment if you can wait.
  24. Personally... I still don't like the battroid mode. And I can't pose it well with the legs (my problem). But I am happy with it in fighter mode. Looks really nice. Like the splitting rifle too. To Regult: I've heard that it's selling fast! The shop I got it has it sold out already.
