The VF-1 GNUs have dropped under US$20 in Hong Kong a few months ago. I suspect the same is true for Japan (otherwise where do the goods come from?) and should in turn internationally. The Kakizai 1A is Yamato web shop exclusive... Normally you don't see them in shops. BTW, the missile Regult is out... But I haven't got it. Unless they come up with a Scout Regult, otherwise I am holding my breath for a Y or B one.

That 1/100 VF-0 looks very good to me...

I think I've read from somewhere that it's perfect-transformer - will confirm when I get home.

I believe Yamato would not simply yamatoed their fans - the mass production model would certainly inferior in some ways. I still think it is a smaller scale. The previous technical difficulties to mass production were owe to its size, more or less.

There would be 2 sets of wings included, one with hardpoints and one without. (right?)

I look forward to the redemption of the VF-25 series in this Bye-Metal series. Yeah I know some people like the DX series, but I don't.

Frankly I only have the GNU VF-1's, and their articulations are very good. On par with RS. But frankly the scripting of the RS are generally betterm and cheaper in yen. Although these days you get GNUs dirt cheap (<US$10).

I started to like Robot Damashii a whole lot. I'll buy any mechas I am interested in this series. In fact I like the GNUs too, but Bandai got the right licenses.

I am such a weirdo. I like the Toynami scale better. I don't know what is the new transformable VF-1 revy good for. Good for Bandai, maybe.

I remember seeing the VF-27 as low as $1080 this week... Which shop to be exact I can't remember. A more "general" reference (i.e. more shops are selling at) is HK$1180. VF-25 Tornado is around HK$1280 from what I have noticed.

I remember reading somewhere that the Q-Raus were non scale at first. It was just retconned to be 1/60 when it was re-issued after the release of 1/60 VF-1 version 2 series. I can't remember now, but I have a vague memory of doing calculations and measurements and found that the Q-Raus are 1/57 or around that.

Frankly speaking, I can't tell the differences among the valks in the anime in my first run. Many people have the same problem. We don't know there's a VF-0D, the color of Shin's 0A, also in MF, some people don't notice the VF-171 too; they think it's VF-25F with new weapons. BTW, that is the true CF scheme for VF-0A?

I would still get it, but I prefer the TV version MUCH more.

The choice is obvious when the figures are different. Otherwise I would have opted for the bundled set... Although I don't need another TV parts.
