  1. Best engineering of a valk I've seen.
  2. I need a Glaug. Oh thanks!!!!!!
  3. Me too. Twice I wanted to get the MF BDs, however if there is no subtitle I would never watch them.
  4. Is it the pummeled version in DYRL?
  5. I am sorry if this is asked before; recently we found that the super bundle does not cone with the super part stickers. Had yamato missed something? Graham, has you heard something from them?
  6. The green one is the "anime color" for those launch arms. Re-issued a couple of years ago I think? Cuz I got several back then.
  7. I too wish to see the M7 valks before going back to the YF-19. And you still owe me the Phalanx and Spartan, Yamato! Oh, and VF-11C Armor parts would be nice. And we are worthy of the VF-0 Reactive Armor, aren't we?
  8. I think I've read that "additional armaments" (Speaker Pods) are being reviewed...
  9. Thanks Save for the pics! They look much better!
  10. Will there be a TV version? My childhood memory goes to the TV version... Haven't watched DYRL until my 20s.
  11. I've experienced no problem with mine... And once I applied those decal fluids (two kinds of them) they adhered very nicely. I needed to scratch pretty hard when I tried to remove a skull logo on the backpack. When you said "cracked", do you mean they are cracked before you applied them or after? Anyhow, I advise other MWers to ask for other opinions before purchasing...
  12. You can preorder the Tamashii items from shops such as Sino Centre 3/F (one level above the shopping arcade); they charge a reasonable amount (compared with how much you pay through other online channels). Of course it is too late to pre-order now...
  13. They should thank me for promoting their product. http://www.ibuyxyz.com/items/toys/action-figures/macross~af-/decal_60vf1-detail.htm
  14. Please add an option: use decals. I've got some nice third party decals for my 1/60...
  15. I agree. Sometimes it is true that it is more difficult to do certain things in a smaller scale, but sometimes it is not. I suspect that it is actually easier to do a valk in 1/100 than in 1/60. Details aside, being smaller means (1) pros: lighter weight so gravity won't screw you easily; (2) cons: some parts may be too small to handle pressures (fragile). Given years of engineering, I believe we worry more about (1) than (2) nowadays. We still see (1) pretty often (floppiness), while (2) are more often mistakes (VF-1 version 2 broken shoulders).
  16. Looks like a partial X-ray picture... weird...
  17. The fact that fate made me missed the 19S today, saw the VF-19 Kai CAD drawing today, coupled with the fact that 19F is likely a Tamashii web exclusive, I am now more inclined to skip the Hi-Metal 19S. Until the price drops, maybe.
  18. Argh! There's only one box left when I went to Sino Centre, but the box is terribly damaged. So I decided to go to another shop (10 minutes walk), which I saw one selling at HK$499. But when I went back, I saw the shopkeeper just re-priced (have I just invented a word?) it to HK$520. I was upset enough to decide to wait for a couple of days more... P.S. Partly because we just see the CAD for Yamato VF-19 Kai... I bet that Yamato is going to release VF-19S too. Shall I skip the Hi-Metal... Hmmm....
  19. Sino 2/F Centre would be a better bet! They would be faster than In's Point according to experience. I would go check tonight for sure!
  20. Graham, is it there yet? I didn't check yesterday! I know some July 17 releases are already there.
  21. Is it correct to say that the Yamato 1/60 v2 line covers the most VF-1 models throughout the years? Besides the double-seated VF-1D, we have VF-1D Virgin Road. We even have TV version of VF-1S. The VF-X is coming forth too! Life would be sweeter upon the arrival of Phalanx (was announced before) and Spartan (never planned according to Mr. G). I already give up hopes on 1/60 Monster and Regult and other enemy mechs. At least complete the Destroids, DAMN IT!
  22. Tamashii site says July 17. And it means July 15 or 16 in Hong Kong!

    SCOOP thread!

Weathered VF-1A (Max) http://www.yamato-toys.com/items/detail.php?gid=1696 Weathered VF-1A (Kakizaki) http://www.yamato-toys.com/items/detail.php?gid=1695 Gray Visor VF-1J (the one that comes with the GBP-1S bundle) http://www.yamato-toys.com/items/detail.php?gid=1693 Meh. I don't even care to post photos.
  24. There's no more Macross Chronicles! Macross Ace, maybe...
  25. I'll choose this one over the Hi-Metal any day. That's just personal preference of course.
