Very well said. Without her attitude, Sheryl would be just another generic anime female lead. All based on personal impression: Personally I like the oldest Ichi Prize B of Sheryl best; they managed to capture Sheryl's spirit (to me). Same angelic face issue on Megahouse's army suit release, even she wears little enough. Great production, no wonder, from MH. The bullet Sheryl is too erotic (is there such a thing as "too erotic"?), and the noseart is not Sheryl-accurate to start with (to me).

I am buying it for my love for Yamato, not Basara. Will we see the VF-17, Graham? I'll get the 17D, 17S and Millia 17S. Enough mold-milking to justify it?

Good work! I know (now) the script are quite different, but changing the color makes it 75%+ alike to TV version already. More so than a DX VF-25 to the lineart.

In fact if they plan to release a TV version I would not open the DYRL version and instead sell it. I am not keeping 2 SDFs and I actually want the TV version.

I have a small home so I needed to dig most of them from boxes, so I didn't have time to dress them up, except for 1/48 M&M, who come with the FAST packs on.

Thanks ruskiiVFaussie! I would love an accurate TV version, but I believe I can live with a repainted TV color and the arms. Honestly, my childhood memory is about the TV version, not the DYRL version. If they release at the same time, I would skip the DYRL version and get the TV version within a heartbeat.

Frankly speaking, in my own impression the difference between the TV and DYRL versions are the color and the arms. I am not aware of other differences. (and I call myself a Macross fan. Shame on me!)

It's not a bundle... You can order any of the 1As individually, if that's what you mean.

It only says 2011 release.

I am not sure about the areas you live, but I still can find the VF-25 models (or almost any Bandai models) pretty easily. For the models, they don't attach the armors and super parts only... Sometimes you need to swap parts. Therefore you may need to buy a separate unit if you want a plain VF-25 to display. They are all from Bandai. BTW, if you are interested, the VF-25F w/ Tornado part has just released for a couple of weeks. For Armored VF-25, you can find the 25F and 25S sets. For Super VF-25, you can find VF-25F and VF-25S sets as well, and also there is the Super Parts sold separately for your VF-25G and RVF-25.

I don't know what to say. The Kakizaki one will come with a sleeve. And they don't come with the SP. I don't know if that is a good thing or bad thing. Or should I bother at all.

Me too want to share my platmo 25S. I am a horrible model-maker but it still looks decent.

I have yet to see anyone not recommending the VF-27 over the VF-25's. They are just that bad. Different shades of body color, floppiness, bad scale, bad articulated Gerwalk, chunky battroid, after-sight super/armor parts, you name it. Personally, I think the fighter mode looks okay. Although the landing gears are tiny and you need extra parts to attach the gunpod in F mode.

Do we count the Double Nuts and Bird of Prey for M+? Do we count the trans-VF-25F for MF? Do we count the weathering versions for SDF/DYRL? I think I am only sure about M0...

The ad banner thing says something like "Skull leader calling wingmen..." So I believe it means the H/M/K 1A's. Yes, I am referring to the price we foreigners have to pay. Of course it is impossible to see the yen MSRP of a Hi-Metal goes higher than a Yamato 1/60... The web exclusives hurt little (still hurt because you don't buy things at MSRP locally!) Japanese toy collectors. I will see the Roy 1S to decide whether I would bite. I think the Hi-Metal VF-1's are okay, but not enough to collect the whole line again if they are web exclusive.
