    I don't like to do the parts myself, but I can live with it. And this also happens on Soul of Chogokin series (Bandai). The MQ looks like a toy in comparison. Nothing beats the VF-1 and SDF-1, except their TV counterparts. More pictures: http://www.toysdaily.com/discuz/thread-144080-1-1.html

    That's true. There are still potentials to be tapped from the VF-25. New design of extra armors (just like the DYRL Super Strike Parts over the TV Super Parts), a new color scheme (just like the DYRL VF-1S...) or even a new head for a VF-25Y. I think it's a pity to obsolete the VF-25 so soon.

    I quite agree with you. Yamato has completed my dream of collecting the whole line of VF-1 valks. Now we even have the VF-X and Virgin Road! I believe that Yamato know that they may not make good money in making certain models, but they for some reason (to serve the M public? To keep the factories running? To keep products going out of the door?) they manage to complete the project (except the obscure Dark Bird and HQ Guard maybe). Yamato, you still owe me the Phalanx and Spartan.

    I still stand by my own opinion. The first 1kuji Sheryl is the best (to me)! There's no right or wrong, of course. The black and white bunnies are both very good. Although the black bunny costume is a bit embarassing. The 2 different facial expressions display the two sides, the timid and the hottie... Ranka-wise, I don't know. The first 1kuji Ranka is good. But somehow... The mouth? The standing angle? Isn't quite right to me. The 2nd Kuji Ranka has a better script, but the paint job is not as good IMHO. MH Rankas: the Nyan Nyan Ranka doesn't look like Ranka at all. The finishing is excellent, though. The noseart Ranka is overall good, but I have trouble looking at a yet-to-develop girl's nake body. I skipped the Emotion figures... But from the pictures, that Ranka is pretty good. But again, I prefer to see Ranka in her kiwaii outfits, not sexy ones.

    I believe you are the majority, that both WAVE and Yamato chose to release the DYRL version. But personally I love the TV version. Daedalus Attack!!!!!

    Thanks! I don't know if I like it or not. It looks like a side story custom instead of a hero valk. It reminds me of the red Zeta Plus. I'll get the DX anyhow. (see how certain people are simply cursed to get the only Macross toy on the market, not that they actually like the product?) I wonder if the YF-29 would get a super mode or what in the final battle.

    I am looking forward to it, but deep in my heart, it's just "a SDF", not "the SDF". I grew up with the TV version, damn it Yamato!

    Envy or jealous are weak words. I could die peacefully if I had a toy room like yours. Here is 60% of my display space. I have to rotate once in a while to show different stuffs...

    Sheryl and Ranka again! Not that I don't like them, but yes, it's time for other characters maybe. Well... Keep the Sheryl's. Swap Ranka with Catherine or Grace. I don't mind another Klan either. Nanase... I don't mind looking at her, but not enough to buy her figure.

    Some hopeless idiots would keep buying even if they have tons of complaints over them. They are just desperate enough to fill their cabinet with whatever VF-25 toys they can find. I've got the four DX VF-25 and the two VF-27. I'm sort of okay with their fighter modes (I know many who aren't), so I managed to convince myself to continue buying.

    People have to buy it to hate it. And people hate it with reasons. But if you really like the VF-25, get one to see if you actually like it. Or go for the model kit for a safer bet.

    Personally I have the feeling VF-25 is born from VF-19, and VF-27 from SV-51 (so if it looks like a VF-27, it automatically looks like a SV-51...). Although they manage to retain a new look for themselves. I agree too that it seems to be a hash up of older valks. While it lacks novelty, it is easy to take in. I am speaking referring to the Tornado VF-25, which I do not like at first sight (and until today).
