Many people didn't pre-order it, and the price shot up. GX-60 is an even more popular robot, so - buyers expected the situation would get even worse. Therefore they all went out to pre-order. - sellers thought it would be another hotcake. They ordered more units. As it turned out, GX-60 is now on discount in shops, even cheaper than the preorder price. The same cycle happened for Saint Seiya, SHF Rider, Super Robot Chogokin, GFFMC and other toy lines. Motto 1: If you think the price is right, buy it. Motto 1a: Don't look back. Motto 2: You never predict it right what is the best time to buy. So refer to Motto 1. Motto 2a: If you think you can figure out a way to predict the price, spend the time on the stock market.

I too agree we all have different opinions and tastes. Which is fine and let's just share thoughts. Megahouse's army suit Sheryl, while the best in production quality, IMHO I still don't think the face script is right. Her expression is so serene that it doesn't match her passionate performance.

I think you miss the point... It's about communicating with comrades, which Basara didn't care - he doesn't care about comrades nor communications. Basara is not selfish nor evil (you don't regard an iPod to be evil do you?). He is self-centered to a point that it is irritating. P.S. Yes if he solves things with violence it would make him a better character. It simply makes more sense when your spaceship is invaded, you rush out and fire your guns onto the enemies, but not fly amidst friendly fires and insist to sing there.

Script-wise... IMHO the Emotion Sheryl is the worst of them all... The Megahouse ones are better furnished, while the 1Kuji ones capture Sheryl's script better to my taste.

Instead of being beaten to realize the reality, the reality bent to his will. No matter what he did, however illogical or impossible, became correct. This remains me of Kamina in Gurren Lagann; however Kamina was a lot more fun and a million times charming. He doesn't have much development either in terms of character. However he made buddies on the road, even after he died his Force ghost was still with everybody to give a push in that dimensional thing. Definitely not "You don't understand and I am correct. Listen to my song".

I would count a dozen or so... Not too many but most, if not all of them, enjoy the Yammies tremendously and got a dozen of valks each. If these people don't buy, I would not be optimistic.

According to my Macross buddies in Toysdaily, only one or two persons (including me) have decided to get it. I think only one or two regulars there haven't got the VF-25F v2. I feel pity for the VF-17S as I believe it would be a great piece of engineering brainchild, after handling the VF-19Kai. But let's see the real product to decide.

Hm. I recommend you guys to consider buying from a hong kong online shop, as VF-25f stock is abundant and hkd is as weak as usd.

The release date will be updated later in the month IIRC... Generally the HK retailers get it on the same day or +/- 1 day.

Hmm... Can't be sure. VF-19Kai was released on May 19, and clicked a couple of previous releases and they were not released in the last week either.

US$100 would be too expensive for this and a few missiles. Though I didn't get it real cheap either.
