I prepared to pay a premium at Nippon Yasan, but their asking price is crazy. I believe I can buy it at a similar price when it actually releases.

How come? After the YF-29, VF-25S and VF-171 (actually the VF-25F is also inflated in Japan), Bandai still thinks Macross DX won't sell and make so few units????????

Minor complaints aside, I like it better than a "true VF-1S scheme" (white body with yellow-black stripes in the chest, etc) because that would be a bit boring. True to the heritage, but a bit boring nonetheless. Having said that, I would buy that within a heartbeat as well.

As mentioned before, some Hong Kong vendors are "offered" an order list from an import distributor. It turns out that the distributor cannot delivery ANY units (the distributor shamelessly explained that there is a license problem for Macross - damn, old news is so exciting), so every end-client pre-ordered from these vendors are screwed. So in future, I would never order Macross stuffs from Hong Kong shops again, online or otherwise.

My Nippon Yasan order has been stated as "Preparation in progress" since Thursday. Actually I have ordered from another resources, so I am okay if they can't fill mine. But still, the earlier they can confirm me the better...

They didn't just "want to make us believe"... They made it the case. Edit: Did anyone try to keep hitting the reload button for the order status page, and it will be processed quicker? I believe it's the same mechanism for elevator buttons.

I would buy an Alto PVC if they release one. And also Catherine as in her VF-25S model kit noseart, as the notorious Sheryl "bullet" PVC and Ranka's.

I thought about what's the difference between an Ozma custom and a Focker custom... I suppose it's the bull's skull or the human's skull. While I love Focker much more (Ozma is just his clone), the bull's skull is more in line with the other MF VFs. Edit: It just says "VF-1S" color. Maybe it's the Hikayu VF-1S. More probably.

Thanks for reminding! Seriously, I didn't notice that!!!! However, when I switched over to using PayPal for payment and tried to complete the transaction, it returns a system error... YIKES. Do they work on Saturdays?

I insist using credit card because I feel cheated by the paybail exchange rate. It comes with a price, of course. I may have to wait till next week for them to fix the payment gateway. Duh!
