  1. Ozma proves, yet again, that he's not to be messed with!
  2. ^^^ You sir, are an enabler!
  3. Sweet! That looks amazing! Been working on mine too but I'm a LONG way off from showing any finished results. Excellent work!
  4. Great idea! We never saw the delta wing variant with fast packs. That will certainly make it look more beefed up and menacing.
  5. Dude! I'd just decided NOT to continue looking for one of these. Now I'm not so sure. Amazing work!
  6. Chris, that weathering is outstanding! Love looking at your previous work and seeing how your skills have improved over the years. You built some awesome stuff years back and it just gets better. Very encouraging for some of us who sometimes feel we can't complete a kit (I have my hand raised high with that statement).
  7. I love that shot! Wish there was one that good of the Isamu variant. I especially like the canopy and fold quartz in the wing root tops. Don't look terribly blue to me in that shot.
  8. Can't wait to see this (these) come together. Love your work and it's been a long time since we've seen any of it!
  9. They certainly look it in the pics Duymon posted above in those links (they do open for you, I hope). But as explained shortly after he originally posted, the LERX painting anomaly could have been explained by lighting in the 3d model. Maybe the leading edge lightness could be explained the same way? I'd rather it was a light paint, personally.
  10. MacrossJunkie, is this what you were after?
  11. Yet another one of yours I've heard about but have been waiting patiently to see. Awesome work!
  12. I don't know, call me one who thinks this sort of post should be no problem. We've got someone saying he was drawn in, despite no sub's, and then we get the ending. I thought the point of the original post was, "did I see what I think I saw, or am I missing something?" And I think that is fine and even should be encouraged. I also saw a lot of holding back about HOW frustrated the initial response actually was. This reads a lot like misunderstanding his original intention in posting this to me. And in my humble opinion, doesn't deserve some of the comments I've read. This is a great community and getting people engaged in discussion and some healthy debate is good for us! In my opinion, of course. Back to the point, I really think this is a theme in a lot of works of late. 2001 was brought up, but it's been present in quite a few other movies as well. Inception, anyone? How bout Donnie Darko? That one actually made me mad for a while! But that's kind of the point. A writer can map out a story from beginning to end, or craft it in such a way as to really engage the viewer and let them decide what they take away from it. Maybe its lazy, but I am willing to bet it creates a lot more discussion than tying it up neatly with a bow. And by the way, for the most part, I do prefer my movies nicely wrapped up. But for the sake of discussion, I totally get why a movie that doesn't follow that recipe is still worth telling. Obligatory, "to each his own" remark: we really are a community of wildly differing opinions and as far as I'm concerned, that's what makes this place a pleasure to come hang out in. Carry on...
  13. Great info and thanks for the PM!
  14. Purple looks great! Might PM you about how you disassemble your parts though...
  15. I had the exact same thought... Still, its got my attention.
  16. Agreed completely. I didn't know what all the fuss was about till I got a Frontier Valk and saw for myself. I do wonder if its a problem with paint application in this area, though. The intake is diecast so it's possible we're seeing a metal primer, plus a color coat here. Perhaps that'd explain the "melted wax" look of the intake fan?
  17. Hmmm... Interesting that this one shows a "proper" purple gun. Is this normal for the media shots or is this somehow different from previous releases?
  18. That looks great! Not over the top, subtle like it's actually been used. Love your work!
  19. Dude, that's great news! Hope I get a request soon too.
  20. That price is an absolute steal! I haven't seen them that cheap, ever.
  21. Been waiting a long time to see this! You don't disappoint! Awesome!
  22. Well that would explain things nicely! Maybe I just recalled August incorrectly?
