    Question about Frontier: Do we see what Ozma was piloting when he first meets (and saves) Ranka? It's been that long ago that I watched the series, and what I do recall was a very short sequence showing a research vessel being crushed. I don't recall Ozma flying a fighter. But since he was there, I wondered of we saw what he was in, during that brief sequence.

    Bummer indeed. I was really excited by the news so far. I'll be the team responsible for its performance thus far are absolutely gutted. UPDATE: I read some articles and it actually looks like they've got some options to move it enough to make recharging the batteries more viable. Looks like there's plenty to keep the guys busy for a while.

    Illustrator is an awesome thing to be able to use! So many possibilities. Do you know the power you posess for decal work, for instance? I sort of, almost know what I'm doing with it but still haven't had much success with tracing a decal so I can resize it for a different scale. What you've been able to do with that still frame is very impressive!

    Good to see things get built. Also good to see you've got other things happening as well. I've been so caught up in life lately that looking at other people's work is all I've got! Happy to see it though. Keep it up, cause I'm sure I'm not the only one with a lack of time right now and work like yours is what keeps us coming back to the hobby!

    And here I thought these were all machine translations. You learn something new every day. Back on topic, very much looking forward to this one and the new pilot figures. Could use some for my stalled VF-1D, though I suppose that should have a rather unusually clad pilot, given the story...

    For whatever reason, I have it in my head it'll be 22,000. Maybe because it'll be justified by Bandai because the super parts by themselves have a set price. Add them in and you can justify a price premium. Still, one could argue the YF-29 had a similar arrangement with the wing engines, and they weren't exorbitantly priced, all things considered. Happy to wait and see. I'd certainly love to get my hands on it when it arrives.

    Anyone else concerned they'll bump the price up higher than the YF-30, purely because the transformation isn't exactly simple, plus they're "including" super parts?

    You do that, and I can't help but think you're going to get a lot of people clamouring for them. My 171 is in the box, because I'm afraid of it. Replace the triangle pieces and I'm a happy man, with something I won't worry about getting out and playing with.

    You can indeed! They get scaled down a bit but there's no limit to the number you can post (if I recall correctly). Post away! Looking forward to seeing some progress. I don't think I've seen any in-progress builds of the 1/48 kits. Either I was away when people were building them and missed it, or there simply haven't been any posts here. Either way - bring it on!

    See, it's times like these that I wish I knew more about the marvel universe. A lot of the in jokes were totally lost on me. I still thoroughly enjoyed this ep, though.
