I think the hardware should be titanium. Joking aside, the black hardware actually looks more high end to me than silver. I don't know why. Maybe it goes back to my days of making custom speaker systems. Black was always the way to go and silver always looked cheap. Of course, that's becaus all the drivers were also black. Might want to do a snap poll of some sort? Personally, I think the black looks better. Ti would look incredible but you'd have to charge a lot more than what you are now.

Double post...

Where was this, David? Sounds like a good deal!
-
Hmmm... Almost looks like it came down perfectly vertical. No ditch behind it. Also looks like it's missing a stab.

Thanks Xigrid, I meant spanner, since we're both in Australia, we could maybe work out a slightly cheaper shipping rate.
-
I'll PM you about maybe splitting an order. Shipping isn't outrageous but it's also not exactly cheap when you only want one set.

I know exactly what you mean! Great show that I hang out all week, just to catch the next episode.

Changing from full version to cellphone version
mickyg replied to Ignacio Ocamica's topic in MW Site News & Member Feedback
Honestly, it's not really that big a deal to me. I work in IT though (specifically in support) so any time I see something others are having trouble with, my natural instinct is to start documenting the issue with anything I can find myself. Interesting. My iPhone 5 is running iOS 8 as well and I definitely don't have that option to "change theme" in mine. (and it looks like I just reported this post by mistake - hope no mods were injured clamouring to take care of my supposed "complaint" ) -
1/48+fp's, 1/60+fp's, 1/72, 1/2k, 1/3k,1/100 and now 1/144

That is very interesting! The pic posted before with the head on shot of the formation, certainly looks like 3 hardpoints. And both these references are from DYRL (the still and the video). Guess there were some animation liberties? -

Yeah, but that's 3 hard points on that shot. We only get two on the toy. With only two, the compromise is a "multiple ejector rack" configuration for the twin reaction weapons. -

Bizarre... My iPhone looks exactly like the screenshot I posted from my Nexus 5 Android phone. I just don't see any item to select to show me how to go back to mobile. Maybe I'm missing something? Can you post a screenshot of what it is I should be looking for? -

EXO - Phone or tablet? I've got an iPhone 5 I'm playing with as well and I don't see the "Go back to mobile" option either. Maybe it's something on the board software that is only enabled when the browser is detected as a tablet version? -

Count me in as one who can't see the change back option. Here's the mobile version: And after I change to full, the bottom left area in question (zoomed in a bit): This is on an Android phone, via chrome browser. -

Decided to give the ghost set a miss. It costs too much and I have an extra 25G set that I'll attempt to paint up to match. That, and the 72 scale kit Ghosts should round out the set. The prices were all too good to pass up, so I couldn't refuse. -

These arrived in last week: Frontier 72 Kit for the ghosts, DX for the RVF (I'll slap an extra set of Super Parts on it and call it complete). Hasegawa YF-21 because collecting 3 valks for a whole series is far easier! One down, 2 to go... The RVF-25 arrived pristine. Or so I thought: I didn't notice anything either. Except when I removed the Valk, I noticed a very bent Elint fin. At some point, it had been packaged back up with the fin folded forward instead of back. Notice you can't see the fin in the pic? This was the result: A lot of gentle persuasion with hot water and hair dryer and I managed to get it back into shape. I gotta say, I didn't want this thing for a long time. I thought I did, but then would find a way to talk myself out of it. Something about a Mint green Valk, piloted by a little kid, just didn't do it for me. But I love it! Such a great color in person and the uniqueness of the design really adds something extra to the collection. The fit and finish is also really good in comparison to my VF-25G and VF-25F. -
Wow, that pilot is a boss!

Looks great! So you didn't use water slide decals or the kit doesn't even come with them? Either way, very nice work!
-
Actually you said, "transformable" and I think that was why there was confusion. I realised you meant that from your post, though. We got yer back.

Wow, that brings back memories. I think for me, it's all about nostalgia. There's no way I could play that to anyone who hasn't seen Robotech and expect them to get it, let alone like the music!

Wow! Can't say I've ever seen that happen before. Buy it now at a decent price, plus free shipping - what's the catch?

Nice progress. Great idea and coming along really well so far. Thanks for detailing your updates!
