Can you post a pic of the neck? My 1j and max don't sit flush to the nose cone/fuselage, but my 1a and HM 1j are flush. Not sure what is backwards, as the necks look the same?

Does the max and Hikaru only come with the tv pilot?

comparing the original HM hikaru to the HMR TV hikaru, the original has a sharper nose cone, and painted indentations for the hips to attach, and of course the nose cone tip is not removable. I like the original's sharper nose cone profile, although it can't wear the GBP. I also like the brighter white of the original, although the HMR has (slightly) better stripes. The HMR has a bigger head, but it doesn't seem to sit flush in plane mode. The original's visor is completely hidden and flush with the fuselage in plane mode. Probably cuz it's smaller?

My Hikaru right antenna also pops off is loose. The left intake hip is scratched out of the box. Tight shoulders too tight. Not major issues so won't bother refunding it. Annoyed that Hikaru has qc issues. This is third Hikaru so you'd think they'd get it worked out by now.

Just checked out those smoke effects for the missles. I like them but they seem a bit pricey for what you get. The other effects parts I bought from bandai were a lot cheaper, I think around 12 bucks to 20 bucks? I think it'd be cool if they made the smoke parts for the GBP though.

Nice. The clamp arm looks like it could do that scene. Though it might cause stress to the backpack on the toy.

The 3 stripes are different. And the heads look like different sizes. 3 shades of white plastic.

Milia is a bit expensive. That's why I skipped on roy. I collect what I like and but I'll skip if I think it's not a good deal. I buy a few repaints but not all. I'd still have a sizable collection even with the non exclusives. I don't have all the dx Chogokin or all the masterpiece transformers but they're still fun. Unless you're a completist, in which case I can understand . It's a good line, mostly for the Zentraedi and destroids but the valks are fun too they're not as fragile or expensive as the Arcadia. Cannon fodder is available at ami ami for preorder

I really like the Canon fodder. Especially cuz it has both tv and movie heads and hands. Too bad the others couldn't do that

It's bandai so dunno. They reissued star wars vader and Bruce Lee. They also reissued dx valks but only a couple. NY used to sell more at increasing prices. Ami ami hobby search hlj sometimes carries a few more units at release date. I think it's cuz some people cancel or those companies cancel multiple orders for limit 1. It's a good line mainly for the Zentraedi and destroid mechs. The valks are fun toys
