I like the destroids and the Zentran mechs more than the hmr valks. Valk burn out. But that ve1 had a nice radome. Bring in the Tomahawk and phalanx, bandai.

Yeah hs sent it in a box that was twice the size of the defender box. I like the smaller box.

Good point. I had a defective unit on a limited run item and the item was sold out on release. But it was too expensive to buy multiples nor army build. For inexpensive items your suggestion is on the money, but preorder madness i only got one order in sometimes.

Thanks. Mine is pretty stiff. I like the mold/design and color of the defender more than the Spartan, but the Spartan seems more solidly built and fun to play. I like the defender waist is not loose like the yamato one.

I just got my defender in the mail. How do the arms come out to such a wide angle? Thanks

The vf1j was the gateway drug pricing for the plastic Crack that hmr is. Haha I think the pricing jumped for the missile set and the vf2ss but the others were in line.

For a list of toys, that would be a long list. Ha ha Macross best valk are the yamato arcadia V2 1/60. Very detailed and don't need painting. 1/48 yamato are rare not as well proportioned and flimsy but look nice in plane mode as they are bigger. The hmr is more like toys, not as fragile as the above but cheaper and have more other mecha like Zentraedi mecha. Gimix is nice but require some glue. There are wave model kits but if you don't like painting , Gundam master grades that are recent don't require paint nor glue. There are other lines in macross like the delta dx or the vf25 dx but preorder is madness and expensive. Outside of macross, there are lots of toys that don't require painting like transformers masterpiece. Gundam robot spirits also are prebuilt and don't require painting or the metal series.

Thanks must have missed that message. Still going to buy it. I'd like to have a complete set of destroids.

Maybe the Tomahawk is a purplish grey like the German tanks. I've used some purple grey spray paint and it looks good. Has anyone seen the Tomahawk up front?

Cool news on the regults. Any preorder days for the Tomahawk and phalanx yet? Finally got my Spartan. So cool. I like that the Spartan has a stiff waist. The yamato Tomahawk had a loose waist. The Spartan gun works like the wave model kit Tomahawk missiles. I thought the Spartan missiles would stick out a bit like the wave model. Bandai did it on the gun but not the missiles. The missiles come forward but not upward. Didn't know the missiles were bigger than the grenades on the GBP. Putting them next to each other the GBP grenades look tiny.

The Tomahawk and defender look like armored core mechs

Bandai should add a few accessories like they did with the tieren. Yamato did it with pilots and engineers and flight deck guys for the Tomahawk. They should have drilled the cockpit for the Spartan like the tieren from bandai Gundam.

This gimmick that the missiles is pushed forward was on the model kits from wave for the Tomahawk.

Here are the unpainted models. Hmr is such a big improvement over these. Ha ha The kaiyodo Tomahawk is pretty nice weathered for its size just a smidge bigger. Have to dig it out. The yamato is probably the best.

This looks similar but in the tan beige brown colors. It's from 1/200 scale models.

Yup the locking click was mentioned a long time ago. Really helps with parts not drooping under weight of super parts and GBP armor.

Nice photos. I'm regretting not buying the missile effects, but they seemed a bit overpriced compared with the other effect parts, and I don't use them that much.
