Yeah that nerf color scheme turns me off.

ger wookie, is it the right foot? On most of the previous valks, the feet can rotate back to do an aggro stance. On both the VF1D and the Ostrich, I found that the right foot only rotates a little bit, but the left foot rotates as far as the other valks so it can bend very far, it's not about how many clicks, it's how much it rotates. I think I posted photos about the ostrich right foot not fully rotating a while back in this thread. No fix yet.

Looks ok to me, but would it get snagged in transformation? I'd still buy it...

This blue on head shoulder and hips is deeper than the stock photos. I like it.

You could try a hair dryer or hot water to loosen it up.

Mine too. Is it due to the shape of the back of the 1d head? There isn't a lot of clearance back there.

I think the HMR was the mock up for the DX line. The shoulders of the DX are so similar to the HMR, and are less breakable than the yammie v2.

Pairing a singing idol with space sci fi spawned an entire industry. But the choreography, the music, Minmei's expressions and dancing to her singing was on a whole other world. watch the DYRL intro, listen to the soft notes of the music that go with the lights of the SDF in the darkness, lighting up as the notes play, then as the SDF comes into view, the climax in music with a military theme. Minmei and her dance moves swaying with her singing (in Japanese) was better than a lot of MTV videos of the day. SDFM was years ahead of other animation, and DRYL took it into overdrive. The design of the DYRL Zentrans looked more alien than SDFM versions which looked very human. I think the tv Max 1a and kakizaki are a little bland for the paint job in jet mode. It's just all white on the top. The battroid mode is ok, since the color breaks up the bland white. The TV1j and the DYRL Max have those "V" lines that highlight the chest plate, and go onto the wings in jet mode. I'd still be interested in the TV line, with HMR, we can collect the entire series. But where is that Tomahawk and Phalanx they teased years ago? If they release Miria's qRau, it should have missile effects so we can reproduce that fight with Max when she panic fires a whole volley of them!

I personally like the color schemes and square hands of DYRL. It seems more realistic to me. SDFM has better missiles though. The animation was a lot more detailed and less cartoony in DYRL so it's got my vote.

It looks like a business decision. The Ostrich doesn't look like it sold well. This 1d has fewer parts and didn't see as much use as the Ostrich on screen so they cut costs. I'm annoyed too, they already had a minmei so they should have included it. Same with the back panel.

I think Jetfire was also the name in the comics. The Jetfire toy seemed so much bigger than my chunky munky.

What's the diff? I thought those two were alternate names for the same character? On the wiki, the two are the same: Skyfire for the animated version.

oh I don't remember that shot. I usually think of Jetfire the version that has a G1 face when he was talking with Starscream. He has red wings sticking out the sides, and the boosters are two pieces but one big backpack in the middle.

I don't see the resemblance. Do you have a pic for comparison?
