Thanks all for the nice comments. I will add the antennae, I'm still deciding if I should use a piece of wire or a recast the antennae from the SD VT-1 I got the boosters from. I'm recasting the boosters, VT-1 head, leg armors and Hikaru/Minmei. I should get them done by early May(I hope). After recasting the parts, I'll finally paint it with the Ostrich color scheme and post photos. thanks again, Mervin

Hi, The tanmen stuff are most likely recasts. I purchased a VT-1 and it is excellent. Smooth casting and no bubbles. Most of their stuff are recasts. Usually, they would mention it if the kit is an original. I know e2046.com mentions it. You would know as well based on the price.

I remember having the bootleg ones. I think mine had a pencil sharpener in the backpack. They're pretty cool though.

You could probably pull this off using polycaps. Where you just unplug the neck piece then plug in the engine and vice versa. There should be enough room in that engine thingy behind the seat to mount the polycap.

I've dealt with RX93 as well, he has a great selection of resin kits up for auction on ebay. He puts them up about once a month. The prices are reasonable too.

Just picked up Prime from my local Walmart here in Toronto. I got him for $49.99 CAD, roughly $38 USD. It was a returned item, no Megatron gun mode, no matrix and no instructions, plus a banged up box. Other than that everything else is present . Prime doesn't look like he was transformed. Everything was in place with no paint chips. I guess some kid got it and couldn't figure out where to start transforming it and returned it. Do you think I got a good deal with this ? I dont really care about the missing accessories. The matrix was nice to have but I can live without it. Man, it was fun transforming this thing without instructions Anyone had any luck removing that mouth piece of his ? There's a mouth and set of teeth underneath it.

I'm also willing to put some money down, but like Jwinges, I'd like to see what's included and how it looks. I have some JM custom projects I want to use them on, namely : - Super/Strike( Roy, Hikaru, Max, Millia, Kakizaki) - Ostrich - Elint - 1D - GBP - Low viz - Blue roses

I also have an Elint and GBP on the way. Like yours, I'm also using the Hase dish, then kitbash some parts for the 'electronic' stuff. My GBP is on the backburner as well. Right now, parts are still blocky and haven't shaped them. The leg armor I did fit's both sides of the legs, which will save me some mold rubber and resin

I've finally completed working on my JM 1S with custom FAST packs and pilot. Engine details Parts breakdown. The side cannon is from a 1/100 Strike 1S kit. Custom arm armors, side-by-side with the original
