People should just torrent Love Live Alive and save themselves the anguish. It's the only dignified way to end this trainwreck besides the novels, even if it makes no sense in whatever context canon is anymore and has no Rick Hunter.

Reminds me of the claims that someone died during the chariot race scene in Ben-Hur. Who knows if it really happened, but yeah, this is starting to get out of hand. -
So which would be the bigger selling point for this theoretical release, "Love Live Alive" or what's pretty much a "Making of/History of" featurette?

Things would go much smoother without a real plot and more CGI. I counted whatever happened to Megan Fox as an accident too. -

Did the last movies have this many reported accidents? -
Stuff like ireport and Facebook are really just free advertising for them. That's why they care to use them at all in their situation.

More work for the CGI people then? -
God, that's depressing. And the day before he was in New York or something.

You know, Ken Penders is available.

In 2011, there's going to be a Mega Man comic book from Archie. Interestingly, it will be done by the staff that currently works on the Sonic the Hedgehog comic book. It was another Day 1 panel of very little consequence. http://nycc_nyaf10.mapyourshow.com/3_0/sessions/sessiondetails.cfm?ScheduledSessionID=1051 '> http://nycc_nyaf10.mapyourshow.com/3_0/sessions/sessiondetails.cfm?ScheduledSessionID=1051

Absolutely nothing of real interest or consequence. That thing potentially coming out next year counts since it's already known that it's a side story of no real consequence. Rick Hunter is still going to be falling towards that black hole from 2007 regardless of what happens in it. Humanity is still screwed without it's addiction to that space weed everyone is obsessed about. And those Sharon Apple clones will keep having that super secret plan about something. And if you REALLY want to know how this will get resolved, keep giving HG more money to rekindle one's childhood and continue the madness.

Looks like he lost. http://www.tssznews.com/2010/10/08/archie-prevailed-in-penders-copyright-case/ '> http://www.tssznews.com/2010/10/08/archie-prevailed-in-penders-copyright-case/ Hope Bioware remembers about Sonic Chronicles 2 sometime in the future, now that they can use all the expanded universe material again. -
So do we ignore the last 3-4 years following Shadow Chronicles then? I thought that said more than enough about Robotech these days, without delusions.

Yeah, it's pathetic. Almost like he thinks he's as important as Yuji Naka when it comes to Sonic or something. I think it's important to note that this guy was fired over creative differences for said material years ago. Classy comeback... -

This is a bit old, but I thought it might be interesting to share. Ken Penders Claims Sonic The Hedgehog Rights I'm guessing if this claim holds, this comic book writer expects to get paid extra from his old comic book employer, maybe Bioware, and even Sega for continuing to use material he created. By the way, did anyone here play Sonic Chronicles? Is it really worth this guy getting legal on everyone? -
The exhibit focused more on Western science fiction over the years. I think anime just got a nod because it only became widespread relatively recently. Unfortunately, whoever made the exhibit probably took a random bunch of sci-fi anime to display there. For example, there were models of a mech from Five Star Stories and Char's Zaku and Sazabi from Gundam, but not the first Gundam itself. http://www.empsfm.org/index.asp '> http://www.empsfm.org/index.asp Think of it this way, if there was something more familiar/extravagant from Macross, a certain U.S. company would be all drama queen about it.

I'm in Seattle this weekend, and I saw this when I went to the Science Fiction Museum. Here's a closer image.

Man, now that's subsidized anime-like artwork! Again, QUALITY work like this, ignoring plotlines and stuff, should have been signs that something was changing in the franchise in a bad way. Long before some guy named Tommy Yune came around.

You have to be real crazy to use the zipline system like in the trailer. Just hold on for dear life? Screw that. -
It certainly sounds like a song U2 would do, but is it Spider-Man?

Do companies still do that kind of stuff? I remember long ago that DVD movies with all the cutscenes came out for games like Metal Gear Sold: Subsistence and Xenosaga I as preorder bonuses.
