After watching it, I guess it's decent. It's just that the transition from anime from the original to animesque/western animation/3D is... interesting.

At this point, I think they hate just about everyone. With the Minecraft hack, it's not even about corporations. Even 4chan was a recent victim. 4chan And for what? Lulz. -

Anyone hear about Lulzsec hacking Bethesda Studio's website, taking user information and threatening to release it if they don't add a Lulzsec top hat in Elder Scrolls Skyrim? -
Manny Pacquiao might be able to help. Even Paris Hilton wanted to hang out with him after his last fight. Plus, he's also a "singer."

I wonder how they're going to top Full Frontal for a Char clone.

I think so. In that situation, HG is just the licensor, the company who gives the rights to other people to make merchandise based on material they own. It's not really their fault that the licensee, Toynami, screws up their official products. It makes both companies look bad though.

Is that Shadow Chronicles RPG book (chronologically in-universe and real life) the latest source of Robotech canon now?
-
I finally got time to watch this show. Somehow, it brings back memories of HBO's Rome series, staring the actors that played The Punisher and Soap.

DC does own Wildstorm Comics, right? And they did the Robo-Tech comics, so you could speculate that the LAM really is coming along by this year, but more likely 2012... with Batman. Meh, just let them believe anything. Robo-Tech AND Batman 2012!
-
Hmm, funny how "Robotech," and "Robo-Tech" were never mentioned in any of those Warner Bros. press releases until the poster started speculating using his fancy Hollywood and lawyering degree to make sense of it...
-
That's been happening for years now, except this year there's side story footage to use as leverage. a.k.a. "progress" for once

Oh Karma. Report: Lulz Security Sony Hacker Arrested
-
Sony hacked again, though a different part of the company and different website. I have a feeling stuff like the Welcome Back program might be affected. Lulz Security claims fresh hack of 1 million Sony accounts
-
Sigh, the same person who said Cary Fukunaga turned also down the LAM posted news about David Aldo thing. Come on, he ain't a credible source of information. I should commend him for posting news that actually had something to do with Robo-Tech as well as the LAM for once, even if it is possibly at least two years old by now. But no, he loves screwing with people all the damn time. A reminder of the other "news" this guy has posted before: GUILLERMO DEL TORO AVALIABLE: DIRECT ROBOTECH RLAM? - No CARY FUKUNAGA APPROACHED TO DIRECT ROBOTECH LAM...TURNS IT DOWN - No WB, SAM RAIMI "EARTH DEFENSE FORCE", AND ROBOTECH - No
-
You mean exploiting three shows, right? Two if you want to be realistic, or one hugely popular one under a different name and two others arbitrarily slapped together with it.
-
God forbid someone doesn't e-mail him and try to get a straight answer about his experience with the LAM.
-
It's not much, but I found this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Davidaldo Page last modified 15 April 2009 at 15:33. Has no official wiki page except this and the entry is almost identical to his official site introduction except not updated. Sounds like he's been involved for some time, but nobody seemed to care until today. What's up with that?
-
Yup, I think he's the one between Kermit and Miss Piggy at the end of this one. Not that other guy... maybe.
-
I don't know why people even bother with the same cliches again and again.

The "no one was minding the store" defense. Then they came back with a vengeance. To me, it's as meaningless as the "Sentinels Curse," a.k.a., they didn't know what they were doing past 1985.
-
True, but considering what's happened since that mess, I think Battletech was able to move on from it successfully. They actually got out of the 80's.
-
But that's already happening, especially after HG put their foot down because of one of the Unseen mechs appearing in the trailer for the Mechwarrior reboot. I assumed Battletech has always been doing better than Robo-Tech, and its fans equally pissed at HG as us.
-
For anyone who was there when HG talked about the productions of Sentinels, 3000, and Shadow Chronicles, etc., was something along these lines said by people in the company as well before they showed something more official? If they did, well, look what happened to the final product(s).
