  1. Exactly, I'd be more comfortable with press releases and third party reports about this now. If only what they've been promoting generated more genuine interest from rational people and the press these days.
  2. I wear glasses already, I don't want to wear another one on top of it or some other work around just to watch a movie in 3D. Besides, is IMAX, stadium seating, and a huge screen enough not enough to immerse yourself in the movie experience? Plus this:
  3. Hmm, read it, maybe I need to lay off posting links like that here.
  4. I'll be honest, I don't get what's so important about these audio tracks or what the big deal is in this clip. Might be significant to someone who cares more. But hey, for once footage of a Robotech panel taken by a regular person. All I see is a $20-$40 asking price for something people might have already, now with digital audio editing.
  5. If I still have a subscription to Netflicks in 6 months, then I'll watch this on DVD.
  6. Hey, it's cheaper than keeping this charade going about space marijuana and some old dude falling towards a black hole. Integrity by damned, they want money!
  7. If it doesn't show up in reports like this in the next couple of hours/days, then S.S.D.D. Anime News Network's Anime Expo 2011 report
  8. Recycled Bayhem: Transformers 3 reused a chase scene from The Island Did you all know Michael Bay did "The Island?" I don't remember that much explosions in there for his taste.
  9. Maybe the three help start the Vehicle Voltron era or something. More likely is that they're planning to kill off some pilots.
  10. I need to go back to watching 30 Rock. So did it really feel like the movie was written by "No One?"
  11. Fat 80 GB PS3 from 2007, repaired once.
  12. I liked "Benderama" more than the first one. Lots of zingers and the whole planet getting drunk won me over. Also, I hope there's a reason why they mixed up the order of the episodes this season.
  13. I got the yellow light of death on my system after two years of operation. Tried using the blow dryer fix from the Internet with no change. I still don't understand how that's supposed to work anyway. At least the hard drive is okay. Also: Report: PS3 Hacker George Hotz Lands Job at Facebook
  14. If the show wasn't featured on the same network that worked on Avatar: The Last Airbender, then yes, I'd agree with you. High production values, unique presentation, etc. But it isn't Nickelodeon's fault, World Events Productions ok'ed this.
  15. I got to watch the recent trailer for the movie and had to ask myself how much stupid human drama I would have to sit through just to get to the action sequences in it. That's something I learned the hard way going through the first two times, unless there's going to be actual character development for the Transformers in a Transformers film for once.
  16. Every upcoming science fiction show/movie/story is Robo-tech until it is released. The less likely the better.
  17. Let's go Action Delivery Force! Countdown to Futurama: Action Delivery Force (with Voltron theme)
  18. The lack of battles shown reminds me of how HBO did the Rome TV series. Despite the story talking place during at least three wars one after another, only two battle sequences were ever shown during the entire run. It was supposed to be more of a character driven show, but maybe it happened because the production values were too high and too ambitious when they did it. Unfortunately, that got it cancelled. For reference, this was all we got after two seasons. NSFW HBO: Rome - Battle of Philippi
  19. Speed Racer Is Racing Back To Comics Is Robotech still a priority for the Creative Director of the franchise, side story and all coming up? It's good for Speed Racer fans, though.
  20. The throw-up warning is in full effect with the premiere episode having gender bending, with everyone! http://ccinsider.comedycentral.com/tag/futurama/ Also notable is the season finale, which will be like an "Anthology of Interest" episode with one segment done in anime style. And surprisingly, it's going to have a Voltron parody that may actually look more like Voltron then a certain revival that came out recently. Anime Leela and Bender Anime Fry
  21. They have released their own manifesto. LulzSec's BS manifesto: Hacking companies is fun; destroying people is hilarious When I hear the word manifesto, I instantly remember the Unabomber for some reason.
  22. After watching the premiere of the new Voltron series, I really think Robotech fans should be really scared about the future. It's a prime example of what can happen when a wholesomely Japanese influence in a series is taken out and replaced with something more Western and cheaper production-wise, yet trying to lightly emulate the original style. Shadow Chronicles already started the trend, especially the cheaper and emulating aspects, and could get worse with the "experimental" stuff they're planning with the upcoming side-story. It's only strength the production could have is the plot if they managed to make up something interesting to talk about.
