I guess they're free to use them still. But honestly, I really can't see them acting on it.

All of the mechs mentioned in the Reseen link and mentioned in Project Pheonix have now become Unseen again as of Aug. 22, 2011. It was probably done to prevent further legal actions against the franchise. The video was done in response to current actions by Catalyst Game Labs. Reseen Mechs, now Unseen again

I hope you guys like free-to-play. The New MechWarrior Game is a PC Exclusive Despite what the developers say, HG was probably a big factor in the change due to the Unseen legalities.

This is the closest thing to the complete list of banned mechs I could find. People won't be seeing these mechs in Battletech/Mechwarrior for a while. Guess which ones had something to do with HG. So thanks Harmony Gold, hope you have something special planned for them in the meantime.

Turns out the mech in Piranha Game's Mechwarrior reboot was an Atlas, not an Archer. Also, the Unseen mechs owned by HG will probably not be in the game. Mechwarrior reboot complete image

Then I really want to know what exactly you wanted from Frontier instead. There are threads about people not liking it somewhere else in the forum. It seemed like you were trivializing some of the sci-fi elements at forefront of the show because you couldn't get past the characters. Problem with Macross Frontier As Gubaba said, you are entitled to your opinion, but this tread is about Robotech unless you really want to make a comparison between the two these days.

Since it has sci-fi elements and it takes place in space, even though the ship they're on gives off the illusion that they're on a planet, I stand by calling it a space opera. It's just like Gundam, Votoms, Legend of Galactic Heroes, a lot of sci-fi themed anime out there, and Robotech. Not as hard core or epic as others, but still the same. Also, I bring it up because people tend to be too demanding about shows on the Internet. God knows we've seen a lot of people go nuts with it.

Except for the J-pop music, all of those are common elements in the genre of a space opera. I feel like I'm going to regret this, but what did you want to see in a Macross and/or Robotech show?

And then I'd say "I liked him better when he was a pilot. You know, back when he actually did things that mattered. And before legalities forced him to get really old."

Failure? I remember the response was overwhelmingly positive even outside this forum. It was always promoted as an anniversary production for the franchise, purposely making homages to the original but then deconstructing them over the course of the series. Sometimes viciously.

The blog that posted it is gone, so you'll have to skim through the descriptions the posters talked about regarding it here. Shadow Rising: Leaked Information It doesn't help that ever since there was complete silence on HG's part until Love Live Alive.

I don't know, remember the leaked script for the continuation of the Shadow Saga? It sounded like HG was going to make it painfully similar to DYRL in the future, which is probably not the best thing for a show that was following Macross 25 years ago while trying to be original.

Anyone remember Kung Pow: Enter the Fist? Here's the original movie.

Since Harmony Gold is poor, yeah, the Haydonites are watching. By the way, hi Tommy Yune. Hi Kevin Mckeever. Hi That Other Yune guy, I don't know what you do, but you're probably important. Hi talkshoe podcast tools, make an episode about this!

Ha! Policing the Internet... I would think sites like youtube would have a bigger priority, especially with the A&E sets out. All the animation they legally own have been posted freely by individuals, yet the only things they go after these days is Robotech Love Live Alive convention footage. So stuff like The Sentinels, Shadow Chronicles, and Untold Story posted by people not Manga Entertainment in its entirety and not mirrored = don't care Test footage from a phone camera about a future production 30 seconds long = Hammertime Edit: Shadow Chronicles was taken out recently.

When you say "MADE," you mean pay DR Movie, on a strict budget, to animate it since Harmony Gold isn't a real animation studio, right?

I know jokes about that and Love Live Alive were out there, but I don't know if it's still funny now that HG is actually taking the route very seriously. Judging from the Robotech World show, it might be the very forgiving and indifferent animation crowd. To be serious for a moment, is it still funny?

Are there more DLCs coming? Maybe it'll be combined into a single, cheaper pack in the future.

Adapting Astro Plan is probably a valid option after Love Live Alive now.

The bannings and the podcast all sound pretty normal in Robotech's case. I was being sarcastic.
