I thought everything was already settled with Tatsunoko in court and all recent legal snarls happen solely because of HG. They cite Tatsunoko a whole lot in their dealings with other people, but does Tatsunoko even care? I'd imagine they're real busy with other profitable, and relevant, stuff right now.

I'm fine with the slow, painful, and humiliating death spiral Robotech is going through. HG will go on, but probably not their franchise.

Preview of S1E15 "Dudley- Voltron's Biggest Fan" Didn't The Third Dimension do an episode about the lions being sentient or going crazy? I don't remember, but then again, it really doesn't matter anymore. HG is apparently too poor to do even this these days.

Note that positive reviews about Shadow Chronicles out there were written while believing that a continuation of the story would be coming soon afterwards. I don't think anyone expected to wait 5+ years for the next chapter in the franchise, which turns out to have very little to do with the Shadow Saga.

That's a very important point, because HG has really been taking advantage of this and people generally don't care about the differences. I thought because the Battlepod was made overseas that it cost American jobs. But come on HG and Toynami, take some risks. It hasn't stopped them before. It's vulnerable to snipers, but still!

I am so frakking confused now. I understand they're doing a meta episode about the franchise, but I assumed from the very beginning that they were taking the Gundam Wing Endless Waltz route, implying that the new design of Voltron was how it always looked like in the original show. Or hell, like how DYRL changed the appearance of the original show and ultimately the Macross universe.

Cameras aren't allowed in convention panels, I think that's why. Their regular cameraman, however, is an exception.

Isn't being exclusively online and free-to-play a good way for the developers to make balance adjustments to the game over time to combat that? Online Betas even? Though it still might be a never ending problem.

Heavy Gear, anyone? Is something still stuck on a boat in China and is the Glaug really a new toy? In fact, is any of the toy information even new at this point? Also, smooth transition from toys to Carl Macek. I just had a feeling that he would just pop up eventually.
