    That adult oriented Macross already exists, but the people running that interpretation have stopped taking it seriously. To some though, it pretty much has done all the bold points you've described.

    Sequel hook? I guess for all the screwed up stuff Ender had to go through it needed to end on a good note at least. Although, I guess what people think of the rest of the franchise that followed ties into it alot. I've only read Speaker of the Dead and couple of chapters of Xenocide.

    At least it's good music that has a purpose to the plot and hightened the atmosphere of the show. People have been or currently are being treated much worse elsewhere.

    Good point, there are new pics for season 2 toys that are in the works and the series started last Summer/Fall. Plus, Wal-Mart's aggressive about pricing and moving new mechendise. Somewhat related, I was able to get the last copy of Dead Rising II at a Target last week for about $9 because they really wanted to get rid of it. They did the same thing with the Fallout 3 Complete Edition, which I didn't get because I was lazy.
