    But he's on board for Man of Steel. The teaser was shown blantently pointing this out in the theater I saw DKR.

    Just a thought - if Shoji Kawamori and the rest were the Japanese equivalent of George Lucas, shouldn't there be a ton more unnecessary releases of DYRL and the like with superficial changes as the staff does little to no new work beyond that?

    Maybe this thread needs scans of the mecha from the Palladium RPG books. I thought they were still trying to do that with the Robotech plushies that were revealed at Comic-Con.

    I wouldn't take him seriously. He's always been uncomfortably pissed about recent Macross in general. (•_•) It won't stop... ( •_•)>⌐■-■ (⌐■_■) ...this movie from rolling.

    By comparison, I think Kakizaki was treated worse. He should've been censored as a courtesy.

    What do you expect? It's not like they have official mechanical designers, and other important talent,to solve many of those problems these days.

    It will probably be the same quality as most CW shows these days if it happens. It also means the only way I'll see it is if it gets mocked on The Soup on E!.

    Where the legacy of Mospeada is going outside of Japan, maybe with Southern Cross in tow. But look at it another way; the official end of the series will finally have to go to the licensed pile on fansub sites, whenever "Coming Soon" actually is. Also, closure.

    It wasn't as successful or popular as people think it was.

    I don't know. Since hearing about all the legal troubles UEG Productions went with their Robotech project, and then the Robotech Anthology project, it's hard to feel excited when a certain company can viciously bring the whole thing down for no good reason.

    It might get worse. Remember that this will be in a production using almost 30 year old animation combined with modren day animeque animation and CGI of varying quality getting released God knows when.
