  1. Who else here thinks the Rebuild movies are a continuation of the original series?
  2. If anything, the feeling that humanity's royally boned is still there like the original series. At least that's consistent!
  3. That's right, Full Frontal is what the creators wanted in the first place. Can't blame subbers or adaptors for that.
  4. So is this being treated like a budget title now? Another press release said the whole thing could cost $20. http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=39054
  5. Dammit. Oh well, it was a good comeback. Once more into the breach everyone. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sQZVkhyy8kU
  6. I'll add something into the conversation; in the years following the end of Frontier, a lot of people were attending official Robotech convention panels not to hear about their progress with current and future projects for that franchise, but whether or not Frontier would be localized outside Japan.
  7. Up to now I've only known Kickstarter through the video game projects that been started there, as well as the projects that went nowhere after getting their funding. I'd hate to see people get screwed by a company that already has a reputation.
  8. How is Palladium Books' track record when it comes to releasing products on time?
  9. The explaination for the titans later on could be what puts the show in the horror genre. It's something I'm not really looking forward to, as in I might not be able to stomach it.
  10. Kei was much nicer and not ridiculously overpowered though... Oh crap, this might be a subversion to those kind of shows.
  11. I get the feeling that that relaxing OP will start not reflecting the overall mood of the show very soon. And it's only the second episode.
  12. Isn't that how most post-Evangelion mind screws/tragedies/horror shows start out these days?
  13. As long as the shows never make an appearance on The Soup like SyFys movies, then they should be fine.
  14. Yup, it's also because these days I tend to avoid shows and manga with horror elements.
  15. So on April 1st I was just browsing on youtube in the Film & Animation section and randomly clicked on what I thought was a just a normal advert for a Japanese show. It had some action clips and portions of the OP as background music, but near the end of the clip came this huge giant with a evil grin that looked like a human with all of its skin peeled off wrecking a town like in a monster show. At first I thought it was just a elaborate April Fools Joke by a bunch of anime studios, but I later found out that, yes, Attack on Titan is real and that giant thing is in fact part of the premise. This being anime, I really should have known better. I don't know if I'll have the stomach to watch it.
  16. Episode one got my attention, but yeah, this is gonna suck (for them).
  17. So Vash's gun plus the whole arms turning into guns thing was too subtle of a hint?
  18. Maybe you should pay attention a little more to shows you think are crap.
  19. But seriously though, it seems like it's getting harder for the property to get any kind of publicity these days.
