    For some reason I really want to watch this. The last Hercules movie I saw was what I think was a serious, I'm really serious, Sci-Fi Channel original movie. All I remember is that the actor played him as a real dumb brute and looked the part too. And for some reason he had a kid with a shape shifting centaur lady in the second act and didn't know he was the father until the end. Edit: The 2005 Hercules movie starring Paul Telfer.

    Actually, taking a couple of those classes in business school made me very cynical about the whole field. In particular, when it came to deceptive marketing/promotion. I don't apologize for being rude about this, especially after the important points that have been made about this series pilot that won't be talked about or seriously answered by those that matter, ever. Besides, they'll win one way or another. I have no delusions that this thread will really make a difference with what is going to happen anyway.

    It's not official until there's an incoherent rebuttal on a talkshoe podcast with copious amounts of "We own everything in Robotech."Besides, there will probably be too many distractions prepared for SSDC that people won't care to ask those and other actual important questions. Hell, there's still about a month left to entice backers with more crazy promises leading up to it.

    Only one group out of that list has actually been treated well for 30 years and really doesn't have a stake in this Kickstarter. It's only talked about because some dumb Macross purist thought it was worth critically analyzing with the occasional pointing and laughing.

    Still, what you said before is probably very true. After observing so much over the years, it seems like they can disillusion so many people over the years, treat people like crap, and personally ruin the mystique the franchise had that attracted people, and yet there will be so many handfuls of other people out there happily ready to take their place that it wouldn't make a dent in the their reputation at all. No amount of dissenting, but very important information, out there may make a difference. It's going against people's childhoods for crying out loud. How do you fairly argue against that? Hell, after Love Live Alive they might as well intentionally make up crap and let people's heavy nostalgia work for them. And that's not counting those who are very forgiving, and I mean very forgiving, or indifferent about past failures. This might be the biggest barometer so far testing how far that can take them.

    Now now, there's always that slight chance that the shipment could get stuck on a boat in China and no one gets anything for Gen Con. It wouldn't be the first time.
