    Props to an old friend Zen72 for ultimately being vindicated on all fronts by this movie not going anywhere for a decade, I guess karma finally reaching McKeever for being a huckster, and the official website/forum reduced by internal problems to looking like nothing more than a blog.

    Just hope some of them don't end up acting like lunatics in the show while the manga attempts to justify some of their behavior.

    Other companies and their franchises have done much worse or don't even put an effort in any of it. Just saying.

    This is the franchise where the animators turned a random missile into a beer can as an Easter egg for the movie. If you're just watching it once, you're doing it wrong.

    Very true. A more accurate and painful example would be the novels, but that would have been too depressing. Poor, poor Minmei. I really hope you saw the manga before writing this.

    Thank you Macross Delta. I think my anime dry spell is over again. Going through Space Adventure Cobra now, which has the coolest theme I've heard in a while.

    Yeah, it just feels good to know that all those times watching dubbed Macross II on the Starz Action channel years ago finally paid off. It's now available for free on Hulu just so people know. Only the dub is available. Just buy the damn thing.
