  1. Except most of the tidbits that have been revealed so far in Delta have connections to Norse mythology.
  2. It's not big news, but I got a chuckle at the picture Crunchyroll decided to use. A pretty obscure reference these days, but still relevant. http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2016/02/10-1/live-action-sonic-the-hedgehog-movie-planned-for-2018
  3. No wonder they thought the crossover was a good idea.
  4. Please don't mix up mythologies like Clash of the Titians did (twice!), Delta.
  5. I think the OP should focus more on the characters that are going to pilot the mecha instead of the technical details.
  6. Does anyone know of any Hollywood fantasy or sci-if anti-war films that were made around the time of this treatment that could be similar? Maybe that's a better comparison than Independance Day or Starship Troopers at least in tone? I don't know what I'm saying after hearing about dirtbag Hikaru.
  7. All of this back and forth is ultimately leading to something, right?
  8. I'll just put this out here; Max piloted a Tomahawk like a boss.
  9. You mean it's not part of the same convoluted universe now?
  10. Gotta admit though, the part about a cannon fodder sounds like a good story.
  11. Congrats to the Denver Broncos for finally proving The Simpsons wrong.
  12. What isn't sexual in Archer anymore? (and where did all these keywords come from, I don't remember putting so many all those years ago)
  13. The Forbes interview doesn't count?
  14. Compared to Mirage, I think the Walkure girls are trying too hard with their Tactical Sound attire.
  15. Not doing anything with it for a few years counts as an approach, right? Just like what Warner Bros. ultimately did?
  16. The same strengths and weaknesses that compilation movies have. More focus on the war and love triangle, less on the high school antics. Alto's backstory and motivation was much clearer to understand. And damn, those visuals. A lot of the shout outs to the original series were really toned down in the films that it really did not feel like it was part of an anniversary show. It was as if the story and the characters were no longer bound to being homages to something else from the franchise. Ranka benefited especially from this because, I got to be honest, in hindsight she got royally screwed in the TV series by being the closer analogue to Minmay than Sheryl. She spent half it being manipulated and making bad decisions thanks to the Galaxy Fleet to ultimately act as a deconstruction of DYRL with the Vajra. Here, she was actually on the same page with the SMS crew about the conspiracies going on and became an active participant in undermining them. In fact, she invoked a little bit of Misa when she started sympathizing with the Vajra at the dock with Alto. In addition to acting a lot more mature, especially with the love triangle, the films ultimately redeemed her for me. It's pretty cruel to say, but Galaxy's scheme to control the Vajra here worked better for me. Songstresses here were just a means for them to hack into their communication system and afterwards rely on just pure technology to control them. I think it's a more realistic thing transhumanists would do. Even moreso than the TV series, it really hammered the fact that idols were just expendable assets, and in a franchise like this you really cannot go any lower than that. What I didn't like is that the love triangle was not the roller coaster ride that the TV series was, but it's minor. Also, too many fake death flags.
  17. They got hacked recently. Hope you didn't leave any personal info there.
  18. I'm surprised to say that the movies were much better than the series. These were the first non-PlayStation 3 Blu-Rays I ever bought.
