  1. The ending song should be replaced if the tone of the series gets a lot more serious. It's okay by itself, but it could become more upsetting to use later on.
  2. It would be a damn shame if the only noble thing about this group is that they're just part of the aristocracy. It would also not be a Macross series if the antagonists had no redeeming qualities to justify their actions besides having an inferiority complex. Hopefully, the NUNS really did screw the Windermereans to justify all this.
  3. I don't know. He's acting more like a psychopath as the series goes on. And despite being called Aerial Knights, they arguably haven't done anything chivalrous at all so far.
  4. That's social media's problem for creating so many bland narcissists.
  5. Ugh, that damn pendant Hayate keeps wearing. It and his backstory is driving me nuts. https://twitter.com/GwynCampbell/status/730604387979034626 Going by past series, it's either fold quartz and/or a big shout out to Escaflowne.
  6. Next time on Robotech: The Mid-Life Crisis Chronicles...
  7. With all the callbacks Delta had so far, if Gina Bartrow somehow pops up I will be so pissed at Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress.
  8. Anyway, still betting on DC and Zack Snyder screwing James Wan's career before Robotech does. http://batman-news.com/2016/05/01/james-wan-aquaman-rumors/
  9. I remember seeing the banner for this on the ANN website. A selling point was (still) celebrating the 30th anniversary 31 years after the fact.
  10. Geez, all this time I thought they were channeling North Korea combined with chivalry.
  11. Actually, I don't like the franchise because there is very little innovation between game to game and the developers know it. They have to tack on zombies, planes, spaceships, mechsuits, etc. with patriotism to cover the fact players are just pointing and shooting a seemingly endless wave of bad guys from point A to B every year.
  12. The nobility may have sold out to the ruinous powers. Probably Tzeentch. What are the implications if the antagonists this time around have no redeeming values to justify the peaceful messages the franchise has promoted? And when I mean antagonists, I mean the nobility/aristocrats of Windermere. The rest of their society may be oppressed.
  13. Remember, generations have been following Roy Focker's playbook for effective squadron management. Not as much alcohol here, though. WWRD?
  14. Turns out we never had to do anything all those years ago. The gameplay was that "innovative."
  15. Mikumo is also a celebrity, and who knows how bad future TMZ could be like in half a century. Damn, or an analogue of Hibiki Kanzaki.
  16. Halo Reach also had space fighter combat for less than one chapter.
  17. You know, if Messer is going to give Hayate crap for not acting like a professional, it would only be fair for him to treat the Walkure the same way. For instance, Mikumo possibly breaking Ragnan public decency laws.
  18. I think they're wasting possibly a good sci-fi setting on a shallow FPS with no RPG elements. At people are going to play the campaign at least once for the story and achievements, but the multiplayer will always be the main draw. Why even try to make a compelling story?
  19. Messer, you work with idols for a living.
  20. Hayate says he will end the war with his hands? Is that foreshadowing something? Will there be dental appointments in the future?
  21. Hey sketchley, I was looking through the timeline on your page, the After the Varja War part, and I wanted to double check the origin for entries written in black are. In particular, the ones about the experiments for time and extra dimensional travel. Unless the subs are not accurate, something got mentioned in the recent Delta episode.
