  1. For anyone who either bought that Macross Delta character art book or went to one of the Walkure museums that were set up last year, was there ever a full body front and back sketch of Wright Immelman wearing his military uniform from episode 24? I thought I saw at least one panel from a gallery from one event, but the website it was on no longer exists. If possible, search on Google and see if it has any similarities with the Zentradi uniforms designs from the original series. From what I remember, prior to this episode and him anyone currently or at one time associated with the NUNS in a leadership position had a uniform design that was a variation or call back to something worn way back in the days of the UN Spacey. What got me thinking about is was the placement of the pockets on his coat.
  2. I am calling it right now; there will be Zentradi archivist character a la Exedol Folmo introduced in this series with important background information about an incident that occurred 8 or so years ago before Delta.
  3. Tochiro, I posted something on your character thread that you might want to see. Everyone might have been too salty years ago to notice.
  4. If true, it would be a significant change to Hayate's character and his interactions with Mirage. Reminds me of a question I asked before when the show ran; unless he was lying, how does someone like Hayate have such finesse piloting a Valk (at least in battroid mode) without ever piloting one and with at least some experience using a civilian destroid before Delta? Remember, it's not the only mecha lineage in use in the galaxy. Just something to think about for the immediate future, I guess.
  5. I don't know, judge for yourself. I can tell you that I was completely sober working on this on Paint. Update - Thanks to This Confuses Gamlin who took the time to edit the picture from episode 17 years ago
  6. What's really sad is that that kind of off the rails character development was already used in Robotech recently. Roy went through this (I guess?) in the Voltron crossover comic when Claudia was killed off. All I remember is, like Lisa here, he also ended up wearing a variation of Gloval's captain outfit and an eyepatch. If I missed anything, I don't care because nothing ultimately mattered in that comic book, which might as well be the default ending for this one too in the foreseeable future.
  7. Coming soon, experience Chirico Cuvie's greatest hits, 300+ of them and more, all over again from Section23. https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2018-07-05/maiden-japan-licenses-maria-watches-over-us-hataraki-man-basquash-yumeiro-patissiere-votoms-ideon-xabungle-human-crossing-anime/.133826
  8. For those who have not been keeping track on this, Gubaba is now on an Orguss rewatch. https://gubabablog.wordpress.com/2018/07/03/the-great-orguss-rewatch-1/
  9. They rarely had someone like T. R. Edwards to worry about in the event of a power vacuum. Crap, that's really why they killed off Global; to reintroduce the biggest tool in the universe to the masses.
  10. Global died and Lisa is the captain of the ship, yet she somehow still ends up in the got captured arc. What's up with that?
  11. And wo-men Jedi!?!?!?!? Might was well give them Veritechs too. Or hell, make them admirals!!!
  12. Nope. The attention they’re getting and the trivial things that set them off these days is just sad.
  13. In the post militant Star Wars fanboy world, no thanks.
  14. At this point, why do you even bother posting updates for this garbage, Old_Nash?
  15. From the album: pictures

    You thought Windermere was weird?
  16. Wotaku: Love is hard for Otaku, episode 4, currently available on Amazon Prime Video:
  17. Whew, thought I jumped the gun last month. Again, congratulations in advance for working on the franchise again.
  18. You really think this very gritty reboot comic book would have happened anyway even if Academy was funded?
  19. Yup. I guess I really can’t take Podtastic criticisms of this comic, and Macross, seriously when he wasn’t there when Robotech needed people like him the most. However, seeing how the Palladium Kickstarter ended up, maybe it was for the better since both relied on unrealistic expectations and blatant nostalgia baiting rather than real plans?
  20. I meant the other Kickstarter that failed in an entirely different way and might as well made this comic book possible.
  21. Podtastic, did you know there was a Robotech Kickstarter years ago?
  22. Yes, gritty. If you’re going to defend Robotech, really know what you’re defending, especially the trivialized misogyny at this point.
