  1. I'll never speak of it again, that's a serious promise.
  2. And I was right. http://www.robotech.com/community/forum/re...enumber=17#post Congratulations on achieving nothing again. After keeping a watch in these Robo-shenanigans for almost a year, I think I'm done with it. Everything is repeating itself over and over again, with different people in the similar situations saying the same damn things. http://www.talkshoe.com/talkshoe/web/talkC...8635&cmd=tc It's the self-fulfilling prophesy End of the Circle eluded to, isn't it? Or Ouroboros.
  3. The armor looks very accurate and shiny, I can't tell if there are any errors from how it was in the show.
  4. Hopefully, the DVD still works because it's still shrink wrapped, but it says the self life is supposed to be a year. I got it in 2003. I'm kind of interested what the heck this Nappy Roots DVD is all about. They only get the really lazy or crafty customers who know how to fight greed with greed, which I endorse for this useless piece of garbage. I dare a company to pull the same stunt with a Blu-Ray disc one of these days.
  5. In a music store long ago, they were giving away free DVDs in a strange vacuum sealed packaging. I got one but eventually forgot about it. When I rediscovered this recently I noticed that it said "8 hour DVD" on the packaging. I did some research and discovered that it was a Flexplay DVD, or a self destructing DVD. Once I open the seal, the DVD will start to turn a different color until it can't be read by a player. So this technology really isn't going anywhere but the trash unless I find a work around. I heard they're still making them in places like Staples for movie rentals.
  6. The Atari Lynx. I couldn't find any decent games besides the ones that came with it, Mrs. Pac Man and California Games. It was also tough finding and paying for D Batteries to run the thing. The same with the Game Gear.
  7. For them at least, nothing will probably change. Here, I'd be comfortable doing that. EDIT - It's pretty clear that on those sites there is no TOU anymore. Mods like MEMO are the TOU.
  8. http://vodpod.com/watch/1326500-snl-top-gu...eo-suche-im-web "You guys are dangerous!"
  9. I really hope they don't, because I thought Marvel wanted to get away from mystical elements when they started the Ultimate Universe.
  10. But no one really wins in that kind of situation; pro-fans, anti-fans, HG, anyone. They're totally comfortable with repeating the cycle adding every new unless piece of information or something extremely irrelevant, but somehow connected in their minds, to Robotech to rant and bait others about.
  11. Are these the same people that want to include more Macross and possibly Orguss into Robotech mostly because of (mecha) envy? EDIT - I thought that was about people on rt.com, but I guess it can apply to the R factor too.
  12. What is it supposed to accomplish? It's not like forum posts and videos are going to help HG make a TV show or anything. It just makes them and the show they idolize look worse than it already is. I thought that's what really matters these days; the company's ability to deliver, not some fans having hissy fits about what is almost close to reality (and I've seen A LOT of hissy fits surrounding just Robotech). Cry me a river. EDIT - Forget it, I remember that this is the Internet. lol
  13. The previous Sega parks all failed, how will this have a better chance? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SegaWorld
  14. It was also good satire about the whole thing.
  15. Rather than focus on games, Sega decides to make amusement parks. And with one of them they decided to put it in the middle of the desert for the super rich. http://kotaku.com/5343016/sega-park-opens-in-dubai
  16. Yeah, a lot of this online stuff is new to me, and it's very surprising. The things I'm learning everyday isn't improving my view of Robotech. There has to be someone else out there who did a better video job for the whole Robotech panel. HG should have done it to promote themselves online like on youtube.
  17. I wasn't trying to be insulting or anything, sorry if I did, I just got some personal perspective on what we were actually arguing about this whole time from that picture. Something clicked, don't know what, but it has made this whole obsession about Robotech, HG, and legalities not that important anymore. I'm sorry if I did something uncalled for.
  18. I think he's referring to the Robotech label being put on a toy that isn't necessarily from Robotech, which Toynami has the right to do. What we talked about a while back. The color has nothing to do with it, it's just misleading.
  19. Among other things, I now see most Robotech die-hards as very old, conservative, and misinformed. Just like in real life, you really can't argue with them and have a fruitful conversation. Might as well try to make money out of it through ebay. People are willing to fork over more than you bought for it.
  20. This is who we have been arguing about all this time. http://twitpic.com/ehz47 And now those arguments don't seem as important anymore.
  21. People must be very excited buying the Stealth one on ebay for about $40. Trust me, they don't need your influence to bring Robotech down. Both the crew and the fans are doing a lot of the work online without even knowing it.
  22. When you're in a medium that constantly churns out stories with no end in sight, it's a forgone conclusion that they would repeat the same stuff again. Just like a TV show or manga, sometimes I wish comics like Spider-Man could plan a real ending. That has to be a real motivation to do something worth reading.
  23. The most infamous of all the changes he made, Spider-Man: One More Day. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spider-Man:_One_More_Day
  24. I thought it was an attempt to create traffic/hits for the site and forum. The same dumb questions and statements keep popping up regularly. They need a better FAQ for crap like that.
