  1. Dude, Athena. And they're gods. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Athena And togas are Roman, you're looking for chitons. And the original wasn't even that accurate about Greece in the first place either.
  2. Big Boss, are you selling out or something? http://kotaku.com/5513122/metal-gear-solid...ement-explained http://kotaku.com/5511327/metal-gear-solid...-billboard-here Oh, and crossovers. http://kotaku.com/5511861/metal-gear-solid...r-front-mission http://kotaku.com/5511159/metal-gear-solid...onster-surprise He has the Philosopher's Legacy already ($$$). Time paradox corporate sponsorship would be overkill at this/that point.
  3. So any new stuff about this Voltron Panthera Force besides a title? The suspense is killing me since Titan Maximum kind of ruined the original concept of the franchise for me.
  4. The overall design of the machines are ergonomical (?) Great way to impress chicks falling upward too. The gunpod is useful as a lighter.
  5. We're going into hypothetical situations now? Fine, whatever. Robotech is dying, MEMO, LSC, and doug are madmen, you want to bury all of them on your own terms, and this isn't going to end at all. Don't take this as me defending the guy or conceding; they're all just tools who don't deserve THIS much discussion. Just look at the PM he sent me long ago.
  6. Did he offer any actual evidence proving you two had something to do with it besides hearsay from a 3rd party on the Internet who might be willing to commit perjury? If not, than I think you're fine. They would have had grounds against HG for the C&D, but any lawsuit against you might have failed. Now I REALLY think you're taking this too seriously now.
  7. Do I need to show an example of how "reliable" MEMO can be: This is how "reliable" MEMO is. If people like UEG were going to listen to anything this guy says, than I'd feel sorry for them. Thank Gawd very few people are like Pizza the Hut, eh?
  8. Um, the victims knew exactly who and why the incident happened before MEMO ever said anything. They got the C&D from Harmony Gold, remember? And it's been painfully clear that he's not the best source of any reliable information, at all. I'm either missing the point you're trying to make, being more knowledgeable and still sensitive to the Robotech fandom, or I just don't care enough for it compared to you. Look at the state of affairs for Robotech, you don't need to be smart at all to understand that something bad/weird has been going on for 3 years. Many should have got the point by now. If not, than it's their own damn fault. Same thing about believing anything MEMO, doug, or LSC say at all times. Pizza learned the very hard lesson recently.
  9. You didn't even have to go that far, WB considering Sylvain White of all people, regardless of The Loser's performance, is a good measurement for the franchise. The response from it was irrelevant, since some were going to ham it up anyway regardless of who was considered for key positions for the LAM.
  10. Here is an example, who and why would anyone take MEMO seriously in that situation anyway? Am I missing something? When did he of all people have so much credibility that disgruntled fans would believe him otherwise? This mod thing at rt.com must be serious business. And afterall, they did have conversations with someone at HG and got a legit C&D from them. What MEMO did as a response was just stupid. In fact, that's a Dwight Schrute thing to do.
  11. There's a huge difference between what HG does (which should be taken seriously) and what the fans do (which are less important, especially since from the more vocal ones, it's just plain stupid sometimes). And of course they're tied together, it's people responding to official news related to a company. And since none of these people are legitimate in any sense, I don't see why you're giving them so much attention when they do this crap for a living and don't amount to much anyway.
  12. So you're going to make a big deal about each and every action these people make like it should matter, at all? That's giving them too much attention, which they like, especially since they're not that important. People aren't idiots; they can pretty much make the same conclusions about people like him from just reading the posts they write, or the recordings they post, regardless of intent on a regular basis. Their work speaks for themselves. And there has been some official activity regarding Robotech. There's been alienation of some fans by Harmony Gold, without going into the fallout between people from it, and Sylvain White. Especially with the director news, that should be enough.
  13. It might calm a lot of people down if he showed more of that side of himself then, aka. not the MEMO most people get to see.
  14. I don't know, I have a backwards compatible system and I don't really use the feature that much. Plus, I still have a PS1 & 2 in good working condition and definitely not going to the dumpster or game shop. I might save on my electric bill by just using the original systems.
  15. You phrased it like the ongoing fiasco(s) was important or still relevant at this point. Except for some crap directed to Macross Purists, it's pretty much misinformation and BS by Robotech fans to other Robotech fans to make them feel good about themselves. You could just, you know, let them continue to humiliate themselves without going through the trouble of getting yourselves involved. I mean come on, look at what MEMO, LSC, and doug say and do. They do an excellent job bringing themselves down without someone helping out. And since a lot of it relies on HG or WB to do anything with Robotech, it doesn't amount to much anyway. Plus, they've been doing this for years, directly correcting or criticizing them at this point isn't going to change their way of working. It definitely didn't do much when you did something about it. I'd just let it burn at this point.
  16. So do you want to save it or give it some dignity or something? I thought you hate everything Robotech and etc. Trying to salvage this seems to be harder and harder to do as time goes on. I'm also getting mixed signals from you.
  17. I ask again, why are we bothering to talk about these people again? Of course they're not experts. Of course they are not affiliated with Harmony Gold or any organization of importance. And, of course they are of no importance whatsoever except being generic products of the Internet. No, sucking up to the right people for credibilty and buying a lot of crap does not count. All I see are a bunch of nobodies stalling for the people who should be addressing the Robotech, and Macross, issue in modern times, Harmony Gold. Silence on their part, and maybe relying on people like this to deal with it online, is not the best way to go. But, since this is HG, the Internet may or may not be a priority for them ever since the Shadow Chronicles' fiasco(s), even if the biggest thing to happen to the franchise recently is the material being availiable legally and illegally online.
  18. In the grand tradition of glorifying every piece of Robotech news that comes up these days, Sylvain White and Robotech get one paragraph each in an article about Voltron LAM being delayed. Apparently, to an anime source, it's so unimportant that it doesn't deserve its own posting. Voltron's Live-Action Film Plans Rebooted (Oh, and Robotech) Well, they could be related somehow to justify them being put together. But Oh my Gawd, TWO PARAGRAPHS! I'd just say they're whipped and made the whole situation more personal at this point. Besides, why would their stance matter since they just act like pretentious bullies moderators most of the time?
  19. I heard about this a couple of weeks ago. I'm alarmed, though, that pictures of the show have not been released yet. A title card or some character portraits maybe? But they could be saving those for the conventions. I just want to see how it looks like first before saying anything.
  20. Um, why try to challenge the Frick and Frack when people know how they're going to shamelessly respond to them? Why mention them at all; that's giving them more attention than they really deserve. Plus, they can "prove you wrong." About the LAM, even if something more significant than gossip, which I admit I started here and am sorry for, happens, no one is going to see any results from it by the end of the year or even next year. And I mean real results, not publicity photos of actors and crew getting approached and putting out a blurb about it, like what happens now. Evidence that work is being done, like in magazines or shows like Access Hollywood and crap. Though if it becomes newsworthy for The Soup, it's probably not a good thing.
  21. Not to drag this on or anything, but HG's "appreciation" for their contribution has not improved even recently. Even if he was trying to be funny at the time, Tommy Yune did blame them for some of the questionable work on Shadow Chronicles, specifically the CGI and, *ahem,* character proportions. In response, I'd blame him for a poor quality control sense since he let it slide to be seen by the world. My point is that HG does not respect those who do the grunt work for them, which in this case includes the crews and creators who did the most important work on the original shows that turned into Robotech.
  22. Who cares about these people who are not that important or talented? People who believe in the franchise care more about where Robotech is going, not some fans who think they have a greater standing because they suck up the right people and need to be taken seriously. That's really why they frequent the usual sites. Sorry, they're not important at all. Well, a lot of people forget that he's not as talented as Robotech made him to be. I welcome the possibility that more and more people may find out about Robotech's dirty little secrets as the LAM trickles along. Asians made Robotech, and they're pissed and alienated by the international legal owners of the material. Good luck trying to do something with that.
  23. You're right, Sylvain White could be a naysayer or keeping his options open at this point. http://scifiwire.com/2010/04/losers-director-confirms.php Remind me, what's the difference between a draft, script, and screenplay? So depending on how that ends, there's the possibility the two may or may not want to work with WB, or a particular adaptation?
  24. I was first introduced to it through Rock Band II.
  25. I disagree, MEMO and LSC would make up the craziest hype about just anything to do with Robotech, no matter what. No joke, those still supportive of this should be very concerned who WB is asking to get involved in the LAM these days. From the star of Spider-Man, to someone who worked on Star Wars, and eventually to some of the most obscure people in various mediums, it says a lot about WB's thoughts on this venture already.
