Graham's logic was that it would be too much to resculpt the VF into a 2 seater and there were not enough variations for it to be profitable. But yet we have a Q-Rau and possibly a monster... But, the same could be said of the 1/60 2-seaters, and they did those anyway, right? Exactly! Logically I don't see why they won't produce the 2 seaters. Unless sales of the 1/60 -1D,-1E, and -1T were poor. I would love to know how well/poorly these guys sold.. oh well. no matter, me wants 1/48 two seaters! ya hear Yamato?

Very cool topic guys.. Let's see, crappy toys? Well my first Valk purchase was an MPC VF-1J, paid 160 CND for it. I must say it did not meet my expectations at all, but at the time it was the only Valk i could get my hands on... And I REALLY wanted a Valkyrie toy on my shelf at home. After getting all my Yamatos, my MPC's sit in their boxes stored away. Crap : Welly's DeLoreans (back to the future series) No windows on the doors, though the sculpt is very acurate the overall quality is not great. To be fair though, they aren't expensive. I prefer my Deloreans (BTTF) from Sunstar in the 1:18 scale. Very cool toys

Ouch! 27.10 in fees... I guess we're lucky out here in Toronto where they can be purchased locally. How much was it with exchange rate before the fees? I really hope they make the Tv green version... keeping fingers crossed.

Well, I own both a PS2 and XBOX. I think it comes down to the user's taste in games. Graphics are not everything, I still play some sweet games on what some people would consider ancient 8 bit machines. Though functionality wise, once I modded my xbox, it opened up a whole new world of usage for it. It sits on my lan as a file server. Plus being able to play games right off the HD is simply awesome. My ps2 is modded also, obviously it does not give me much more then just being able to play imports and back-up games. Really the only reason i did this was to play the Macross game.

Chances of 1/48 two seaters are very slim. Graham Without doing a formal survey, i think 2 seater Valks in the 1/48 scale would sell well. I know i would grab pick up at least 1 of each. i wonder why Yamato does not consider this? perhaps the 1/60's 2 seaters did not sell well? anyone know ?

storywise, is the new Area88 same as the original? how many episodes are being planned for the new one? loved the original...

Well i know no political discussions are allowed on this board, hopefully this will not cross the line. Though i believe it already has. I guess it all stems from the point of view you hold regarding the U.S invasion of Iraq. Let's just say the Iraqis are not the only ones who have hit civilian targets. As for the reporter, these days "news outlets" such as CNN, FOX, etc should be pegged more as mouthpieces of the government than journalists. After all, if it weren't for this reporter we would not have such footage. I don't think the fact that he was there would have changed the outcome of this particular event.

I don't get why some people are upset at the reporter? In any war, reporters have done what they're meant to do, report.
