You mean CoD4.5 World at War. I like Resistance. Even though the characters and gameplay feel like cookie-cutters, I had a blast with the game playing co-op with my brother. Killzone 2 is pure eyecandy with some substance. Resistance 2 has 8 or 16 co-op (forgot which), and 60-man online multiplayer. Killzone does not have co-op, its online play is standard stuff; however is reminscent of Team Fortress 2. Both games (and TF2) are decent purchases. Although there is no demo for Resistance 2, try the Killzone 2 demo, see if it justify your purchase. Well! First time I ever regret looking at a spoiler...

Not quite, but it's a crop-dusting transformer.

Oh those fish, those things are freakish. Though I had to admire it when I saw an adolescent sunfish at the Long Beach Aquarium, oh do I long to go there someday again... I didn't catch that Mugi-chan actually said what it was since I was watching it raw... -

Awesome Grade 1:1 scale Gundam progress: via Kotaku via Danny Choo Hmm... "Sir, satellite photos show Japan is building a giant robot out in the open. Even though it's halfway finished, there are some sort of beam weapon--" "Oh that's just a giant model." *rumble* "What was that?"- 6025 replies

If that's the case, anyone who bought Left4Dead 1 won't probably be left out of the dark then... but I'm not holding up hopes that high though. -

You see, anything related to Disney in anyway (that's including Spirited Away and such) is always an exception -

SMPlayer uses WMP no? Any options I change in WMP affect SMPlayer... But anyway, that's interesting, I thought MPC didn't work as well but it does work. Thanks, it fixes just about everything save for the video files (WMV) I downloaded from Steam. Their colors are still distorted in MPC. I might go check out if there are new or stable drivers for my card tonight though... -

ATI HD4750 or HD4770 perhaps? I haven't heard any bad things from any manufacturer really, but my preference goes to Sapphire and HIS... Though I don't know if getting a different card would fix not being able to run old games... I have an HIS HD2600XT and while everything else runs without a hitch, Call of Duty 1 crashes on me after about 15 minutes of gameplay online. But then again, I am running an AGP and using a hotfix... Also, I require halps too . I can't seem to play any video files properly in Windows Media player for some reason, I noticed this problem with the Steam player as well. If I play any video file at full-screen, I get distorted colors--pinks, purples, and yellows galore. Now if I go into WMP's Tools>Options>Performance>Advanced... and under Video Acceleration, if I uncheck "Use video mixing renderer" and "Use overlays" the colors are back to normal but I can't play full-screen. If I try to switch to full-screen, it would either go back to windowed-mode or exit out of the player. Anyone know a little trick or fix for this? -

I think subconsciously he didn't want it stop, or rather he has no power to stop it. Like rolling a little snowball downhill and watching it gradually turn bigger. How and what are you going to do to stop it? ...or is because we didn't want it to stop? I thought she already has those kinds of powers just never used to that extent? I haven't read the novels yet, so maybe I'm missing something. Hmm, what if Kyon is also the Data Entity that Nagato serves? -

Indeed, but I think Crispin Freeman actually does fit Kyon... sometimes. Semi-related question: Does it bother you guys when they translate honorifics when dubbing? -

Thanks for pointing that out. I haven't really played some of the older Castlevania games so I really don't know everything.

I like AFK's, but I don't think they'll be doing an HD version anytime soon... I'll just watch 'em raw or pick up whoever subs it first. -

Yup, they are officially translated (or at least volume 1 I think). If buying the books online, make sure you're buying the novels, not the manga. -
Probably because it was designed first on the PS3 then ported over to 360. But then again, it's all nitpicking really. You can't really tell a difference when it's in motion most of the time.

I really wouldn't say that, the game was made back in '97(?) and there was nothing like it at the time. I'd say FFVII was Square's most ambitious project on the playstation.

It feels too quick for them to release a sequel... pay full price for the original game and pay full price for what is essentially expansion-like content. -
How can you not love the Black Mage Vivi? :'( Meh, I still prefer IX of the trio but I still love them all. VIII was the first FF I played extensively and I loved it, although the draw system was really tedious. VII was awesome overall, no doubt about it. But IX had that little magic (not nostalgia) that sets it apart from the other two. I can't really put my finger on what makes me prefer IX but the game itself feels like it blended together so well.

It's multiplatform isn't it? Like Dead Rising 2?

It be the Morris family who are related to the Belmont family. Yeah, they tried to tie Castlevania with Bram Stoker's Dracula.
