  1. Yes, you can, if I am understanding your question correctly. When I model my units, I make them to the same or close to the lengths of the vessels in meters. The only things I, re-size are the fighter units, and that can be done easily.
  2. As of now, I don't think that it is possible to have transformations behave like that, mainly due to the fact, that the triggers for the animations are very limited. I am looking into ways to code around this problem, but so far have not had any success.

  5. Upon further research, I have discovered that I was wrong, the red vajira's long tail is appears retractable. This can be seen in episode 1. However funny thing is the tail by its self is about 2 to 3 times the length of the total length of the vajira with the tail retracted.

  7. Update Red Vajira is in process of being modeled Once I have the Vajira race and appropriate research, for UNS and Vajira, set up, I might start doing balancing tests. I will be looking for people to help me out with these tests. I expect the testers to be able make balancing modifications on their own.
  8. I don't think that is the case, because both versions are seen within milliseconds of each other, and they both are in space. Also the segmented ones have a significantly longer tails (like the yellow ones) and missing the tail spikes.
  9. While modeling the red vajira for my mod, I just noticed there are two types of red vajiras. One with a segmented tail(maybe early stage red one) and one with a whole solid tail. The former can be seen in episode 17, right after the skin shedding. The solid tail ones can also be seen in the same scene.   10. Update Linked Try Again to a ship function. So it is feasible to have a Sound Force. However I don't plan on having the actual sound force, ie VF-19 Kai and the rest of sound force, in the mod.
  11. I haven't looked into that part of coding yet, so I am not 100% sure it is feasible yet. However if I can do it, I will probably have different modules play different songs. Each will be effective against different types of enemies, ie Minmay for Zentrandi and Meltrandis, Firebomber for Varauta, and Sheryl/Ranka for Vajira. Also I will have Electronic Warfare units that will disrupt normal human communications.

I guess I tired. --edit-- Animation fixed My plan for the vajira The yellow vajira(scouts) cost and build time are going to be comparable to the normal valks. The red vajira are going to be significantly more expensive and takes longer to build, but going to be as strong as a Northampton frigate. Yellow vajiras are going to be more effective (ie faster and have more hp) near red vajira. Red vajira are going to be more effective around vajira capital ships. These bonuses however can be jammed by certain UNS units. I actually have a plan to portray the vajira adaptation in game. through research increasing hp and changing armor classes. Can be countered UNS research and units.

  14. Yes, but right now it is always opens when its attacking. Trying to figure out how to make it so it only opens when it fires the main gun

  17. I was talking about the smaller one, given the kanji from sketchley's first post. I think it translates to carrier but I am basing it off of what I know from Chinese.
  18. I guess its a carrier then, because in Chinese, 母艦 means carrier, but the literal translation is mothership. Dunno if its the same in Japanese. But then again my Chinese is pretty rusty.

  20. I need an opinion on the approximate size of the vajira destroyer. Here is what I have now, compared to the NMC and the Uraga, both are to the length specs given from the Macross Mech Manual.
  21. On the second attempt, I also got S rank, using a different strategy. Now I am on the 3rd mission in the Astate Starzone. Trying to figure out what the victory conditions are.
  22. I just got the game and tried the FPA side of the campaign, and wow I got my ass kicked on the first mission. It was the Battle of Legzima. I was initially winning with no problems, but then Reinhardt, Kircheis, Mittermeyer and Ruenthal Fleets shows up, outnumbered me and the rest was not pretty. Poor Attenbough, he got wasted. I guess I am nowhere near Yang Wen Li's skill level.
