  1. lol, I can't take all the credit, almost all of the models are done by the old mod team, all I am doing is getting the them in game. As for releasing a demo, I'll consider it but everything is a mess right now. Also if anybody is willing, I need someone to look into how to make bigger maps in hw2. I started to research this myself but I got occupied by other things.

  3. Lol, I am only one person, I don't think I can go that fast. How goes the background thing? Also the Zentrandi are freaking overpowered, and they are huge. As you can see in the Thuverl-Salan pic, the NMC is in the foreground. Balancing is gonna be tricky

  7. I can but it will complicate a whole bunch of other stuff, like NMC transformation. Unless I think of a easy workaround, I don't think that will be featured.
  8. Crap, I meant to color the battroid section too. What I meant, was that since that section detach and becomes part of the shoulder assembly it should be the color of the shoulder assembly.
  9. Cool, I would love to have you on board. I actually sent an email to Alfie a ways back on helping you guys finish the first one. If all goes well, I can port all the code from my mod to the original one and get that finished also.

  11. I am trying to animate my VF-17D but I keep on running into problems. It always seems that I am always missing pieces. I am currently using the Macross Design Works pictures as a basis. I am specifically looking for pictures of the shoulder joint.
  12. I remember that there were numbers for the VF-1 transformations, I was wondering if there are stated transformation times (ie fighter to gerwalk, fighter to battroid, gerwalk to battroid) for the newer valks?

  14. I guess I could make variants of the vajira units. I am considering making the 2nd stage vajira as a swarmer unit (squads of 10). I am trying to stay away from making new units unless absolutely necessary. I haven't really looked into backgrounds just yet, been focused on the transformation code and modeling as of late. But it sounds like a good idea.
  15. Update Modeling of a transforming VF-17D is about 75% complete. The backplate is giving me some problems. Critiques are welcome. Also I realized there will be a balancing issue because the UNS has a crap load more unit types than the vajira (7 types vs 3 types). I am open to some suggestions on how to remedy this issue. Here is my VF-17D in progress
  16. It is still excellent. Since, I got the transformation code working, I will need to make the VF-11, VF-17, and VF-19 models transformable. Do you mind helping me out with those. Just tell me which ones you want to make. Or if you want to make other units, it is ok with me. I was thinking of putting in the VF-25.
  17. Thanks for the compliment Update Just did a test on multi unit squads, it is almost perfect, small hiccup when units are attacking, but it should be is easily fixed. I think full transformations can work for everything now.
  18. Have any Macross Class or NMC folded by it's self in Storm Attacker Mode? I know there was an episode in Macross 7, where Battle 7 folded with City 7, but can't remember if it was City 7 that initiated the fold or if it was Battle 7.
  19. Update Transformations for the NMC are now working perfectly . Now, you can select different weapon settings for the NMC, Passive Mode - Cruiser, No Macross Cannon, Normal Mode - Cruiser, Macross Cannon, and Aggressive Mode - Storm Attacker, Macross Cannon. I am probably gonna put stat differences for each mode at later. Still need to test code out on multi unit squads. Also need to re-tweek the NMC's weapons though, too many missiles launch at the same time, major frame rate drop
  20. I was wondering, can the NMC launch fighters when it is in attacker mode via the normal catapults. The hanger section is truncated and the flight deck is no longer there, because of the arms.
  21. Update I am now able to control transformations with the tactics buttons, however the results are quite buggy (i.e transformations will sometimes spaz out after a few minutes).
  22. Update Success!!!!, Major breakthrough on the transformation front, I got the Macross Cannon to "switch" firing positions, when in different modes, and it works for multiple units. Crap load of code though, and pretty sure its not very efficient code (lots of nested if statements inside of nested if statements) but it works. I think I can apply this to getting Valks to transform the way I want them to. Now I really need help with models and textures. With this breakthrough I need to make transforming VF-11, VF-17 and VF-19s.

  24. Looks very good Are those models intended for use in Homeworld 2? If so, you are going to have to use Maya to make the transformations. And also are you interested in joining my mod team?
  25. Maybe it means that it is capable of search operations during fold transit. It seems like a good thing to know whats gonna be waiting for you when you defold.
